You cannot use someone else’s fire; you can only use your own. And in order to do that, you must first be willing to believe you have it.

A selection of dishes from a 50-course, lab-prepared meal for Ferran Adria by Nathan Myhrvold of the Modernist Cuisine. nyti.ms/1jyNvmf
Diner: Thank you Mr. Adria for the beautiful spread, but all I wanted was a hamburger. If you really want to get fancy perhaps a side of fries and a vanilla milkshake.
That moment when you come across a song that you used to love and you fall in love with it all over again.
I know that Cotton Balls and Sunshine is starting to look like a tourism brochure for Brazil and I promise that I’ve been to other countries. But something about Brazil tugged at my heart and made me wish I could stay. As I continue to work on my Portuguese, take Capoeira lessons and save for my return, I decided to write this lovely travel guide on Salvador for the stylish readers of Nomad-Chic. Enjoy.
I thought this was adorable. Illustration via Rachel Khoo

I heard this song at Casa Mezcal in the Lower East Side and I've been hooked ever since.
