From the project: Monday to Friday. Street photography from a moving vehicle.
99.9% failure. I've been trying for at least 2 years to grab a perfectly arranged and framed through the window drive by snapshot of people waiting at a bus stop for a series of photographs I've been working on. Very rarely do the planets align and you get everything just in the right place. It just doesn't happen 99.9% of the time - overlaps, miss timed shots, badly framed or I drop the camera. Today I got pretty damn close to perfection 3 times in the space of a few hundred meters. That never happens. This is the first one. I like it anyway.

Ive been shooting suburban housing for the past 2 years and must have been through 100+ houses. I think the shooting has now run it's course as themes just keep repeating - religious symbolism, shrine like arrangements of belongings, barricades to the outside world and bleak looking bed spaces. The echo of the 1970s is still very much audible even in 2016.

So here we go. TIme to roll out ‘24 Days of Bullshit & Wrapping Paper’. A distillation of everything I adore about Christmas.
I’ve published it as a book too. It’s still with the printers though…
Think of it as your photographic advent calendar.
