Nikki only had about an hour lunch break before heading back to school. As a teacher, she knew than hour-long lunch break will leave the children to feel restless after. She had no idea how she was going to handle the energetic children, especially after recess. But of course, she was grateful to have an hour to herself and to relax. It was the only time she had a break besides after school hours. Yet, most of the hours involved grading homework or emailing parents. But she doesn’t know what she would do if she was not able to see her students after day. Sometimes, it’s a pain looking after other people’s children but they still make her day.
At the moment, she was driving to a nice restaurant to meet up with Holland. She has not seen her all week and wanted to catch up with her. She pulls up to the restaurant, parking her car in the parking lot. She opened her car door, grabbing her purse, stepping out of the car. She closes her car door, walking toward the restaurant's door. She walks inside, glancing around before she spots Holland at a table. “Hey, Holland. I hope you weren't waiting long.” She said to her once she was closer to the table. She places her purse on the back on the chair before adding, “I don’t know about you but I’m starving. How has your day been?
