It’s actually insane how beautiful Isagi and Bachira look from Nagi’s perspective. And I can see how they remind him of him and Reo.

Guys I think Leon is in love
I wonder if Hayden ever prompted (either intentionally or unintentionally) any conversation with Shane about his sex life with Ilya.
Like I can see Shane giving Hayden a G-rated description of their first encounter in the hotel. Hayden just thinks Shane and Ilya fell for each other after some long conversations and Shane “vanilla” Hollander just probably made out with him. Hayden tells Jackie and she’s like “That’s it?? I know there’s more to that story. What types of questions did you ask?” And Hayden shrugs and is like “I didn’t ask him any questions.” Jackie realizes that she can’t trust her husband with anything and she makes him wear an earpiece to his next hangout with Shane. Shane is probably super confused as to why Hayden seems so interested in his love life and why he’s stuttering more than usual. Hayden realizes from this encounter that they got together because Shane got hard and Rozanov jerked off at him. Hayden also learns that Shane is not as vanilla as he thought, especially with the way he says everything with a straight face. He sees Hayden looking flabbergasted as he starts describing the joys of accidental voyeurism and being dominated and he’s like “I’m confused, I thought this was normal,”. Hayden comes out of this talk with way more knowledge of gay sex than he ever thought he’d have as well as some tips for anal if Hayden or Jackie ever needed it. He also comes out of the talk being 99.9% sure that Shane was being sucked off in that phone call during off season. Jackie resigns herself to the fact that she NEEDS to talk to Shane in person about all of this
Shipping Janka makes me feel the same way I felt with my favorite Haikyuu ships back in 2021. There’s something about their dynamic that’s so incredibly addictive (it might just be the sadomasochism) but they just make me want to be creative and explore their pairing.
Rewatching The Pitt and getting emotional over Trinity Santos. Watching season 1 for the first time everything was coming at me so fast, but during my rewatch with a friend it felt like I was able to linger on scenes longer. One of such scenes was Santos’ conversation/accusation of the father of the girl that was being molested. The emotion in her voice, the strength that she showed, the fear for the little girl, the precaution she took by having Ahmad outside the door. Her trauma is on full display in the conversation and you can tell that she never wants anyone to go through the same things she did. This coupled with the reaction she has to the father in season 2 with the daughter with blood in her urine. I honestly just want to bundle her up in a blanket and hold her and keep her warm for eternity.
(And yes, I did cry writing this, Trinity Santos you will ALWAYS be beloved to me)
those who've seen the etalk textinf fans interview know.
he looks so good when he’s miserable I hope he never feels happiness again
You heard it here, bring on the freaky comments. 😅 Watch the two-episode premiere of #HeatedRivalry Nov 28 on @CraveCanada
shane zeroing in on ilyas crotch like 8 times in that clip while on the verge of tears because he can’t accept what he is makes me sad. it’s 15 inches. big, long, takes no mercy. no not ilyas penis but the metaphorical self flagellation whip.
Something about Laurent not considering himself a virgin because of the abuse he suffered but acting like a virgin with Damen because he has only ever experienced sex as violence and violation and Damen is the first man to touch him gently and lovingly and to care about his experience rather than just using his body to satisfy himself and he's acting surprised and confused by the simplest displays of affection and tenderness because it is an entirely new experience makes me
How am I supposed to get Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov out of my mind until the 28th. I see them in everything I set my mind to 😭. Hockey stuff is even popping up on my fyp now!
Louis and Claudia love their little French gremlins
Will and Bedelia's catfight is by far the funniest part of the third season, but the fact that he gets the last word by releasing Hannibal is such a peak Will Graham move. He and Bedelia are constantly making bride and wife references and clawing to claim that top spot, it's the one thing that Bedelia can even hold over him, but then Will basically turns around and says 'how about let's ask Hannibal, hm?' and Bedelia shits herself. He's such a bitch.
I think some of the reactions to The Summer Hikaru Died from English speaking fans are very, very telling.
On one hand, you have people blatantly denying its queerness. Which gets harder and harder for them, especially after viewing the second episode.
Then you have the people denying its queerness because "it's not a BL". While I think most of the people saying this are younger or misguided by queerbait-y shows that they've seen, this sentiment still denies queerness as a part of life and a part of fiction. I thought it would be obvious that not all queer stories are romances. But I suppose there are really still people that only see queer people as the romances they have.
But then there's my least favorite type of person, who recognizes that the characters are queer in some way, but deny the fact that queerness (especially Yoshiki's sexuality) is woven into the fabric of the story. If Yoshiki wasn't queer, The Summer Hikaru Died would not be the story it is. Most of its themes would cease to exist.
The amount of people I've seen say that: "The Summer Hikaru Died may have a gay character, but it's not impactful to the plot. The story is about grief, not LGBT stuff" -- is horrifyingly sad. And the fact that so, so many people still racistly think that being queer is a western invention is even sadder.
I've seen people say that "oh, of course the author didn't mean for this to be about sexuality; they're Japanese!" is gross. Especially when Mokumokuren themself has described The Summer Hikaru Died as a "queer story".
Anyway, I'm annoyed with people, as per usual. I love that more and more people are getting into this story, but it truly makes me upset to see people try to take an explicitly queer story and water it down.
At least we have this:
And I like that even Reddit people are calling it the "fisting scene"😭
I feel like no one understands how obsessed I am with Riku. I love him SOOOOOO much it’s unreal. He’s like the cutest thing I’ve ever seen and I need to have him in my pocket at all times
JIHOON MY CCUTUWIIEIEIEEEEE OMMHGGGG pls get the scissors away from him
I’ve been reminiscing about ORV, or more aptly titled “Don’t meet your heroes, they may try to kill you!”
