I’ve just found my new favourite gif forever

so, last time there was a body positivity night my post was very different than this one is going to be. the top two pictures are of a girl who constantly was worrying about her weight, never feeling pretty enough, and doing everything possible, whether it was healthy or not, to look her best. the bottom two pictures are of a girl who is completely satisfied with how she looks, who doesn’t care what other people have to say. and what’s the difference? the top two pictures were taken before august 6, 2019. before i met taylor. when i went down to meet her, she kept telling me how beautiful i was, how i was a literal model, and absolutely gorgeous. and later on i found out that she whispered to my mom, “does she know it?” and my mom shook her head saying no. so taylor came back to me and told me i was beautiful again, and hugged me so tight. so now, whenever i feel ugly, or just not pretty enough, i remember that night, i remember how taylor swift, basically the most gorgeous human to ever live, thinks im beautiful, and wants me to know it. and she’s the only person whose opinion really matters to me, so i couldn’t care less what other people say. so thank you taylor, for helping me see myself in a way i had always dreamed of. i love you with everything in me, forever and always <3 @taylorswift #bodypositiveswifties #bodypositivity

Body Positivity Selfie Night!

Hey everyone! In February and April, Sage, @andtheyreadoffournames created and hosted body positivity selfie night. The number of people who participated, both by posting selfies and reblogging others was incredible!

I, as well as others, really really loved it and found it really important so we want to bring it back to our community.

On Monday, September 2nd (Labor Day), starting at 6pm EST, exactly 5 months after the last one, we’ll do it again!

Again, EVERYBODY is encouraged to participate, regardless of how your body looks or how you feel about your body. You don’t have to be confident in your body to post, and you don’t even really need to post a picture, you could just share your story! Of course, if you don’t want to do that, you can just reblog people. The tag will still be #bodypositiveswifties.

I know Soon You’ll Get Better is such a personal song for you and your family, so thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing it with the world. I know that was a hard choice to make, but it perfectly encapsulates what it feels like to see a loved one in pain, it’s so heartbreaking. Your music is so loved because it helps people to make sense of their feelings and navigate the good times and the desperately sad times. I am so grateful that you shared this with us, I know it will help so many people who are dealing with illness. I know it helped me. Love you always 💕

We’re really getting a gma concert, a livestream with Stella McCartney, a performance of a song she has never performed live before, a music video for Lover which includes a gorgeous pink electric lover era vibes guitar, and surprises……. all in the span of a few little miserable hours before we actually get a whole new album by miss Taylor………. how are we all still breathing and blogging right now…….
