Chubby Chubby Presents Kampong Hues’17 Chinese New Year Collection
Chubby Chubby Singapore presents the fourth installation of its best-selling Chinese New Year collection for 2017 – Kampong Hues, a theme inspired by the designer’s fondest childhood memories. Nix Deng traditionally spends her Chinese New Years in her grandmother’s home – located in a Kampong (traditional village) in Malaysia. The 1960 village abode boasts endearing pastel colours of baby pink, blue and orange. It is under this humble roof that Nix holds some of her most unforgettable times - playing traditional games such as five stones and hopscotch– with her sibling and cousins. Times were simple yet fun; and these are the very elements Nix wants to bring forth to the children who don the much-anticipated collection this year.
We have designs for baby boy rompers in sizes 0 (9-12months) and 1 (1-2years old), baby girl rompers in sizes 00 (3-9months), size 0 (9-24months). Girls cheongsams starts from size 0 (9-12months) till size 10 (fits up to 11years old) . Boys shirts starts size 0 (9-12months) till size 10 (fits up to 11years old). Boy Pants starts from size 1 (fits 9 months with diapers) and till size 10!

Following the successes of Chubby Chubby’s Cheongsams (traditional one piece Chinese dress) for precious little girls, Kampong Hues showcases 4 new delightful designs of beautiful pastel shades – a bubble dress Cheongsam, low-waist gather Girly Cheongsam with asymmetrical mandarin collar detail, classic oriental Cheongsam with scallop hems, and a raglan-inspired shift dress Cheongsam.
