Pennywise Headcanon: Dreams/Nightmares
27 years is a long time to have a whole lot of dreams, but they’re all very similar for Pennywise. He’s hunting, eating, feasting on lower species and dominates his territory. Nobody threatens him or comes even close to his magnificence. These dreams also fuel his insatiable hunger once he wakes from his long rest. The prolonged slumber enables him to stay awake for a whole year where his only desires are to fill his belly and hoard food inside his nest. Until he met his mate.
After they got used to each other’s presence, he often spent the nights at her place. It was weird. He wasn’t used to eight-hour naps at first, but staring at his mate in her sleep until she woke wasn’t working out. For her. He didn’t care.
Most times he would occupy himself with movies instead, but sometimes he’d curl around her and napped for a few hours himself. Very rarely she would wake before him and could observe him for a change. She was able to see his lip twitch or watch how he’d wrinkle his nose and growl. Depending on the intensity of the dream his claws would emerge, or his hands would try to seek her out in the bed they shared.
The naps became a routine as time passed and his dreams started to shift. Before having a mate they were filled with bloodshed and delicious fear, but soon enough lust became more and more apparent in them. Pennywise would wake her up quite often then, hard and heavy and throbbing for his mate.
