Hi everyone! As an avid Swiftie and KK/CK fan, when I first listened to this song I immidiately knew it fit Daniel's struggles with Silver, and so this project's been on my draft for the longest of times. Now that the new season dropped, I could finally find the last clips to make it fit my vision.
The video follows the lyrics and I tried switching the timelines according to the song. I like to imagine that the last clip is Daniel's way of taking everything that happened to him, shaped him, and reclaim it as a big middle finger to the person who caused him a lot of pain, a way of freeing himself.
V.O:
Daniel: 'Terry Silver popped up out of the blue, right? He did the same thing to me. He'll seem decent enough, show you a few moves, and then he'll worm his way in. You'll become stronger than you thought possible, but Silver won't stop there.' Daniel: 'What am I doing?' Silver: 'And if you're being honest with yourself, you know you liked it.' Daniel: 'Haven't you heard? Cobra Kai never dies.' DISCLAIMER: neither the song nor the clips belong to me. Clips: Cobra Kai and Karate Kid III Song: Would've, could've, should've, by Taylor Swift
