Denki had planned for a while, buying all kinds of flavors for his boyfriend to pick from - and when they finally got to his dorm? There’s almost a buffet set up, piles of every flavor you could ever imagine set up on his desk.

“Yuyuuu~ You know what day it is, right?? Let’s play the Pocky game, you can pick the flavor???”

It wasn't supposed to happen like this. Nothing was supposed to happen like this. They were supposed to be happy together, not.. not.. not crying in each other’s arms.

He hadn’t meant to, he really hadn’t meant to. And yet, he couldn’t control it. They’re already well informed the year, and he STILL can’t control this damn quirk!

How could he hope to keep this relationship if he just keeps hurting them..?

“Yuyu.. I’m sorry.. I’m so so sorry…” He just holds him in his lap, playing with his hair as he tries helping calm them down.

Yes, it was probably a dumb idea to do this, but they were bored. They needed something to do. And what better way to cure their boredom from being grounded from leaving campus than having a play fight? They had the foam swords, and at first, Denki wasn't going to use his quirk!

But..

Hoshi said he could!

And they would use their practice knives!

And that brings us to now, to the shitshow that is Denki half stupid and Hoshi laying on the ground with the starts of a Lichtenberg figure climbing up their arm.

"FUCK!!!" He's rushing over, falling to the floor to make sure that they're okay. The very last thing he wanted to do was to hurt them...

They had just been playing, just playing around, rolling around in the grass, slapping each other, throwing leaves, things normal kids do. So why. Why did it have to end up like this. Denki's quirk fired off, it wasn't even a situation that called for quirks, that called for being on edge. So why had it happened?

And yet?

Here he is, sobbing his heart out as the love of his life has been shocked. Yes, they're trying to comfort him, but it's going in one ear and right back out the other.

"Kyo..! I'm s-sorry...!"
