very nice weekend visiting my boyfriend’s family. the urge to move out of the big city and settle down in a small town/ village is so strong in both of us, but the question is always “what would we do for work” anyway I’m sure we’ll make it work some day

I’ve been feeling depressed recently which explains why everything feels like a chore and I don’t find joy in regular every day activities, but I’m starting to catch myself before saying no to things and analyzing how I truly feel instead of just saying I’m too tired or something. I’ll focus on journalling, eating good meals, reading, being present, and spending as little time as possible on instagram. hopefully that’ll make me snap out of it

okay it’s been a month since I started taking iron supplements and I wasn’t noticing a difference but today everything feels a bit lighter and a bit less dreadful. had a great brunch with my best friend, walked home in the pouring rain, going to spend the afternoon reading
