I've been taking a break from making jewelry and doing hair & make up. I gave up quite a while back because( well of aging and wear and tear 🙃💕so of course being A creative force of nature,I've gone ino the next best things. Treasure hunting, Decor and Repurposing these fun finds! Now I don't just grab any junkie piece of rust off a store shelf and Mark it way up to over charge and rip you off!I really look and look, go back and forth until I find stuff worth buying to list! I then pain stakingingly take a million pictures until they look just right(?that's after cleaning the pieces up( that can take a while) researching what the items are about, pay to have them appraised( new as of April 2018) then I put them in an online store I spent lots of invested time and money on ( Marketing. Promotion, fees,fees ...late nights- storage , wrapping ,Shipping, ( dealing with hubby- him me😝- not really an easy job if you really think about it. Alot of times , you don't even sell an item for months , sometimes years Rofl. So those Thrift and antique selling isnt really The easiest job but I need to do something from home right? and it must be creative! I've done some shopping around and noticed that in the hobby stores ( and stores like Target and Walmart , you can buy cool knick knacks At reasonable prices for almost any genre Decor you want for your room,and pretty inexpensive at that! I'm going to take it a step further. Ifvmy treasure. Hunting doesn't produce $100 and over finds , Im going g to Repupose them into fun Shabby Chic, industrial Modern , Rustic Art in all kinds of Fun colors to choose from!
