I didn’t post on Eren’s birthday with the freebie like I said I was going to, but it’s because I got caught up making this sims 4 inspired wip. I don’t know if this has been done yet or not, but I’m #geeked

* These are the miniprofile wip revamps to this cramped postrow I posted earlier on. It has a few “optional” features that members can turn on/off to tailor their miniprofiles to as minimalist/cluttered as they like it. Since this skin uses a profile application, it borrows that information for a one-time input.

one of the comms on the less busy days on uni. I used modern + supernatural as a theme and then got reminded of RBB by Red Velvet along the way so i stucked up with that LMAO. Anyways, summer vacay is looming, i believe i can open my commissions again around 2nd-3rd week of April.

This is so wild tbh – I did actually have that particular skin undergoing corrections, but I’m not sure if the coding would be a “for sale” thing just because of how annoying installation would be (and I don’t own the rights to any of the artwork used in personal testers/previews, so they cant’/won’t be included.)

This was originally purchased for a roleplay site that never came to fruition and I have no need for it at the moment. It was originally coded by Liv/Holly/Eve- whichever alias you know her by and it is in her policy to be able to resell so long as the credit isn’t removed. I’m asking the original price I paid for it for the kin and the templates that were provided. It does include two general templates, a face claim, occupation claim (that can easily converted into a member directory), shipper with tracker and shipper reply as well as pop up modals for the staff images at the top of the header. The main profile is a tabbed profile application that has a tab for information as well as the application itself. Always a possibility :~)  But real talk, I don’t know if I could actually ever sell anything I’ve done recently – it’s so picky/finicky & I’d hate to frustrate or inconvenience anybody. I will definitely work on making my personal style more flexible.

I’m beginning to think I’m actually the queen of starting things and never finishing them --

This alternating postrow was extremely frustrating, but I was so proud of it by the time I figured out how to do it! Everything was mirrored, which took a lot of extra coding that flexbox couldn’t even save me from.

I’m excited to revisit the concept in a quieter, simpler project! My one regret is not being able to use the miniprofile styling because they were actually really pretty --

I promise this will be my last spam in the tag for a while, buuuuuut----

This was a WIP that probably won’t see the light of day, but I was very proud of it! The header used javascript (not via parallax) to control the “scroll speed” of elements, so the dripping water colours (different layered images) would quickly creep up behind the lovely portrait (drawn by Margaret Morales) in different speeds as you went down the page. It honestly looked really cool!

I had a lot planned with this, so it’s a lil’ bummy that it won’t go anywhere, but I also learned quite a bit from it as well. The colours were really, really charming, and I’m inspired to do more like it.

Accompanying post templates with the previous post. They were designed to instantly change colours (any coloured header & bolded text, included) depending on the poster’s membergroup.

This was a b---i---g learning experience. Even though I look back on the designing aspect and cringe mostly at the execution, it was worth the time invested and getting to learn everything I did. I think this project also really set “the bar” on my personal standards for any future works, too / which I’m glad for! All of my previous codes have been lacklustre and uninspiring, so it’s good to feel like I accomplished something cool. I don’t think this skin could ever go up for sale due to how complicated the installation/editing would be, so it’s definitely portfolio-bound.

The colours on the main profile and miniprofile/postrow change per membergroup.

The main profile is an application, albeit a bit bulkily coded. I have since learned how to keep optional/hidden fields more ‘sleek’.

The postrow/miniprofile features what I call “badges” and I’m really proud of the simple concept of them.

I coded about 10 posting templates specifically for this skin, but I’m embarrassed by the quality of some of them.
