Okay, I know that I didn't show this transition very well, but just feel XGaster in this moment. He did everything for these children, they are literally the purpose of his life, for them he almost su!c!de. And here he realizes that those whom he created are much more valuable to children than himself, who does so much for them (at least for XChara).

So, it played out that you prefer the company of dolls rather than the creator = you are also a doll.

Ink is canonically peace of shit

XGaster is insanely lonely because of his power, which separates him from the rest of the all characters (WHY DOESN'T ANYONE TALK ABOUT IT)

I was inspired to do this by the official XTale Zine, where he literally calls his ability a curse - I think it's because he can't just forget about his vocation to create and live like an ordinary “stupid” but happy character.

And he can't forget about his ability, because who will create if not him? (according to the plot of the Underverse, all the authors left, and I think Ink let him know about it in the process of convincing him that he should create). That's why he has this responsibility to ruin the lives of his dear “dolls” - in order to eventually achieve a unique ideal story (to take place as a Creator), only to finally calm down and live like an ordinary character in a happy world. It's ironic, though, that he himself doesn't know how to create this happy ideal world and what does an ideal world mean to him, what is he fighting for - that's what my design of his corrupted form is about.

…So I start a lazy beginning of the plot

I'm not going to do a full comic on the whole story, just a couple of things that I have in my head. I feel like this concept has a huge potential that I won't be able to develop on my own. So I'm just going to throw out my thoughts on what it should look like and what problems XGaster is running into.
