“You’re not your job. You’re not how much money you have in the bank. You’re not the car you drive. You’re not the contents of your wallet. You’re not your fucking khakis. You’re the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.”

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larson With this book, especially with the way that it all begins. The explanation and the tumultuous avalanche of financial information that seems to go on and on but is essentially only a chapter long kind of makes you want to rethink the words engrossing and thriller. Get last that little blockade and it is a whole different world. With the stage carefully set, Larson begins to introduce his characters one by one. The mystery and the feel of the large rich household will have you immersed in this story completely. So completely that you will have trouble noticing how well the stage was set for things greater than small tale you were told. As trilogies go, the girl with the dragon tattoo is one of the very finest examples of introductory pilots.
