I’ve always loved Tumblr. I started back in 2016 and lost all my old accounts. I even taught myself HTML just to build my many blogs. Even though I hardly interact with other people on social media, I truly enjoy wandering through Tumblr I’ve always felt like this space was more like me...

I’ve struggled with eating disorders since adolescence, and for the first time in my life, I’m beginning to heal. I’ve realized that my self‑perception has always been completely and utterly fucked up, just like my silly self‑esteem. Today, I make myself happy by eating and respecting my body.

I felt very alone for years, but I learned that what I really needed was to stop ignoring myself. It’s still hard, and every day is a damn challenge but here I am: laughing, dancing, and eating.

Scribbles of stars and of those electric towers along the highway. Since I was an infant, I’ve always felt a fascination towards these structures; they make me unbelievably happy.

I really, really, really enjoy road trip movies, one of my favorites is Natural Born Killers. I’m happier when I exist only by the road, beneath the sun, underneath stars. I feel like i miss someone but it also feels as if i can´t even remember who.

This is a sketch I made almost two years ago, when my madness began. I like to process my photos as collages and add grain because I ‘suffer’ from visual snow, so to me, grain is pretty much the closest thing I have to share my perspective to others. I also don’t see very well, which is why I love to blur and saturate.

Gabriella Outtakes 1 Pt.1

Today I worked on what might be a technical demo, or a study, or maybe just a prototype thingy, I don’t really know. But to carry out a plan I’ve had in mind for a long time, I needed to see if I could at least pull it off with some decent quality. So I recorded a video of myself playing one of my songs, a single take, mistakes and all, right in the moment. The result made me happy. I love sharing rough, messy work because it lifts so much of the self‑pressure off my shoulders. So yeah, I’m just really glad with how it turned out. It can improve, and it will, but knowing that it already looks interesting makes me happy!

These are the only frames I looped. The gesture kinda comes through, but the face keeps warping again and again, no continuity in the line, blah blah blah. Still, I like it. Here it goes! I had so much fun today —and that´s about it
