“I was splitting firewood and I found this bullet lodged in one of the logs. Notice how there’s no path of entry, so this tree was shot long ago and it healed itself around the bullet.”

It didn’t just heal; it grew. If you look at the orange streaks under the bullet, you can see that the bullet traveled upward and left a rust streak as the tree grew with it lodged in the trunk.
I wish I could heal and grow like this tree did.
