The music had coaxed her into the fray, there was a section of the huge area where people were letting lose and dancing and in that moment, a voice whispered to her: let go. So she did. She let go of her worries, shoved away at the worrisome and guilt-ridden thoughts that had weighed her down and she joined the crowd. Her body swayed along to the music, head thrown back she couldnât help smile wider the more she got into the groove of it. She was mouthing along to the words and didnât really register that she had been flat out staring at someone who was just at some distance from her. when the person looked over at her, Gwen grinned and tried to wave them over.
Balls and parties like this were something that Cindy hadnât had chance to experience much. Sheâd been locked in a bunker for ten years and had missed a lot. So, this was nice. She had a drink in her hands, swaying along to the music that was playing. There had been a bit of feeling that something was off but maybe that was just the after effects of everything that had gone on lately. Her silk sense was all over the place these days. âLook at you go!â Cindy grinned, making her way over to Gwen. âSomeone looks like theyâre enjoying themselves.â
