SO THE EARTH thing . . . koriand’r had found herself in a safe place. one with friends and heroes that had accepted, her differences even being other worldly. girl had never gotten as lucky as her brother and sister, they — well, they looked human almost. glowing skin and flames of locks didn’t add as a distraction from her abnormal height of the average woman. the truth was, as much as kori liked it here . . . she would never fit in. the attention was all part of what she would have to do to survive, would have to be happy that even though there were bad people it was her best bet for life outside of tamaran as a FREE WOMAN. so when the protesters brushed past her, she flinched her head down. not wanting glowing orbs to distract from the anti worldings group. hateful things have always been said, and thanos’ plans to end most human life didn’t exactly set aliens on the path of living a quiet life. ❝ i do not understand why we can’t all just live in peace. ❞ there wasn’t much else talk as the pair shifted through the crowd, side off diner being the place for the two to get away. to talk - mostly about sentinels and what was next to come. the price for this life was heavy, but she didn’t mind for the justice of others. at least for now. her own time of vengeance would come, whenever that may be.

her sister . princess of tamaran ; not to be a BITCH , but komand’r might just take advantage of her status as queen . as the humans say : if you got it , flaunt it . “ you’ve been on earth for so long and you haven’t figured it out , princess ? ” grit of the older sister’s voice will come through , she’s perhaps willing to show her age to her sister - there’s nothing to HIDE , after all . “ the people of earth are no different from the rest of the universe . they will always protect their own , out cast those who differ from them , start war and war after these instances . ” and she herself , is not perfect . as komand’r had always put her own people before others , even her own baby sister . “ if there were peace , there would be nothing left to fight for . ”

Roy held a sentinel’s skull up to his face, rotating it in his hand slowly whilst he closely studied it “Someone was controlling them– someone could see what they were seeing…I feel as if we were played with and when the person– or people, had enough fun they left us with the holograms…hey these things should have GPS fitted in them somewhere right? “ i know nothing about earth technology . ” though , admittedly , there’s no DENYING that she’s impressed by it . some of the engineers on tamaran certainly took some inspiration from them , and komand’r could recognize that at the very least . “ doesn’t you and my sister have someone who could answer that for you ? ” eyes the skull waringly , she personally just wants to BURN it up , so .

Wade couldn’t relax and he was pretty sure, everyone else more or less felt the same way. It had all happened just last night, the sentinels were still being cleaned up, all the damage still being assessed and the sun of the new day had brought on increasing anxiety. So he did what any stable minded person would do and suited up. High on alert, Deadpool assigned himself to patrol the HQ, swords out, guns ready. “come on out you lil fuckers” he hissed

she’s changed her own suit to fit the situation , if anything ; more metal that covers her body , reflecting cloth that’ll stop anything awful from seeping into her skin . eyes will glow violet , distaste painted on her tongue at the comment , and perhaps she lets a single ray of starbolt bounce off the other’s swords . “ now i just don’t think that term is SUITABLE for the moment . ” will float down , toes barely touching the ground ( she can slip away easily if needed ) . “ --- and there’s nothing around here to concern over . ”

Kitty continued her efforts phasing through the sentinels until, all of a sudden, the bots started falling to the ground, eyes dim as if they had been deactivated. She hadn’t done anything unique that wasn’t done when phasing through the other antagonists, and her wealth of experience with the contraptions made it painfully apparent that they hadn’t been killed. Just shut off by a player who was getting bored of the game.

Exhausted, she dropped to her knees, hunched over with her palms gripping the pavement as a stray tear or two ran down her cheeks. She wasn’t sure whether she was overwhelmed with relief or frustration, but that wasn’t anything new. Xavier’s death had thrust many new responsibilities on Kitty’s shoulders with weight that she wasn’t prepared to bear, but guiding a new, ragtag group of mutants through a strange dimension was the icing on the cake. She forced herself to her feet and dusted herself off, her attire torn and limbs bloodied from battle, but she immediately looked around to see where she could be the most useful, making her way to the closest person who appeared to be even slightly more composed than she was. “What now?”

komand’r had been fighting emotion for a very , very long time . it comes with the territory : unwanted by her people , traumatized by her parents ( + those experiments ) , pent up against her own sister . komand’r thinks that , perhaps , she wasn’t a queen meant to loved ; just a queen made to make sure her planet survives , and perhaps thrives .

so , no . she didn’t exactly fight for the others being attacked ; but it seemed that they wanted to get in her way ... and so who is she to ignore something that’s right in front of her ? combat was always good for her ANGER MANAGEMENT anyways . komand’r is marked up , though perhaps not as worse off as the other - she always did choose her clothes for PROTECTION as well . violet eyes fall on the other , hands her a wipe she’d been carrying along during the night . “ if i were you , i’d start off with cleaning up . ”

Being locked in a bunker for ten years had really limited Cindy on the things she’d been able to experience in the outside world. Animals, for example. Sure, she’d seen a cat, dog, rabbit, etc before the bunker but now she had a whole new appreciation for them. Sometimes cats weren’t always her favourite though thanks to a certain feline named person she knew. “I mean, it’s alright,” Cindy shrugged, peering at the cat and the woman holding it. “I’d be more impressed if it was a tiger or something. I’m very suspicious of black cats especially.” There was a temptation to get a closer look but she backed off not wanting to aggravate it and end up losing an eye. “It seems to like you, though.”

will let out a light laugh , as if she’s AMUSED by the other’s words . and in a way , komand’r is . the animals back home were admired , recognized for each of their strengths ; sometimes she forgets , but not really , that earth doesn’t have the same tendencies as the rest of the universe . “ and the large cats we have back home are far more bigger than tigers or something , but there’s no denying the strengths and similarities they have . ” a hum , she’s decided perhaps she will keep this animal . “ yes it does , doesn’t it ? i suppose i have a way . ”

“ Then i know someone you’d love to meet. huge fan of cats, named herself after them actually. ” dick tried to keep up his composure in the presence of the tamaranean, after all the stories he’d heard from her sister & about komand'r in the past, he knew what she was capable of, but as with many of the rogues of his home city, without the domino mask, he was just a law-abiding citizen. one who had to pretend in front of others. the man frowned as he spotted the injuries on the feline’s body. he glances up to the woman, clearing his throat. “ i’m not so sure about that, kom. you seem pretty set on cats already, but you know there’s a lot of debate here about whether dogs are better or not. ”

sculpted brow will raise at the other , kom recognizing his voice almost immediately . “ i wouldn’t go that far , dick . self naming yourself is sort of , oh ... what’s the term ? cheesy , i suppose . independent creatures such as these are supposed to choose you , not the other way around . ” and as violet eyes fall on him , she her voice recognition is correct , she noting the familiar man . head shakes , and hand will gently stroke the cat’s back , warming as it purrs . “ only because i have some on my planet ; dogs there can be useful , too . ” a shrug , head tilts at him and hair will fall to frame her face . “ i don’t know , actually . i’ve never stayed on earth for too long . ”

she’s studying , watching how these things move . robotic , there’s no FLOW in their movement . eyes will glow purple for a moment , she uses a violet bolt to ward off a weapon coming towards her . “ observing . i will not put myself out there without so if i have the choice to . ”

“ these creatures have always been a favorite part of this planet . ” tamaranean queen holds a black cat in her arms , fingers petting the fur surprisingly gentle as she studies it . it’s seen a lot , if the cut across its side said anything , as well as the cut ear and shut eye . komand’r always did appreciate fighters , and this creature obviously was one . will tear her violet eyes away from the animal , they flicker to the other . “ though i’m open to hearing other opinions . ” not that she would agree , but she could listen , observe .

a new universe. a new reality. countless new people that no one knew nothing about ― and definitely not her earth. and while some were intimidated by the unkown, harley was enthusiastic. her footsteps were almost sprightly through the halls of the avengers - or would it be revengers? irrelevant. keep going - compound, clear & curious hues hovering every single corner, looking for something fun to do; or new people to mess with - although the old ones would work just as nicely. regardless, the woman couldn’t help but smile at the sight of the other person ― steps now silent taking harley closer, approaching behind their backs. “ guess who! „ quinzel finally said, while using both hands to close the other’s eyes. “ and no peeking, ‘cuz that’s rude. „

she’s on defense mode , but it’s also not as if she CANNOT feel the other coming up behind her . there was no ill aim in the footsteps of the other , perhaps more childlike and fun than anything else ; it could have been her sister , perhaps , before all the family drama . she could only think wishfully . “ someone pretty & cool . ” will let a laugh fall from her painted lips , lets out a little hum . “ i’m afraid i’d be WRONG either way , i know barely anyone on this planet . ” with an exception to her sister and her sister’s friends .

bars are such a fun thing that earth offers , for it’s the best spot to PEOPLE WATCH , to get a feel about how people on earth are dealing with coming back . not to her surprise , alcohol is a common theme komand’r’s been life .
