1 Week from today! Screenings will be held in the CART Building 27 Studio on May 11th and May 12 for various production classes! Come check out some great student work!

MAFFY - The Monterey Art and Film Festival begins today at 3:00pm at the World Theater at CSUMB! All events today will be held in the World Theater, the event is free and parking is $1 per hour or $4 for the whole day. Hope to see you here!

California State University Monterey Bay is hosting the first day of the second annual Monterey Bay Art & Film Festival for Youth (MAFFY)!
Located at the World Theatre, the event will begin at 3:00PM and run until 6:00PM. Guests will watch local short films created by local youth as well as see animations created from around the world!
All screening and events are free and open to the public. (If driving though, Parking is $1 per hour, $4 for the whole day)

This upcoming Thursday!
The Cinematic Arts and Technology department of CSU Monterey Bay will be hosting 80 minutes of short films from the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. These shorts from all over the world and across a spectrum of genres.
The program will be presented by Sundance’s Senior Film Programmer, Mike Plante. He has been involved since 2001 and is part of a team that picks between 9,000 entries each year.

She is guest lecturing from Richmond, Virginia (a.k.a. RVA) in which Untold RVA is the people’s choice for the ethical presentation of the missing pieces within Richmond’s historical narrative, and describe her current institutional partnerships within the preservation and museum communities!
