The Lion King
Regarding the Mufasa theme, James Earl Jones will bring the majestic lion back to life as he did in the original 1994 version, but sadly in the dubbing to the Castilian the same will not happen, since Constantine Romero will not be able to impose himself as Mufasa again . And well, leaving sadness aside, it is time to go to the entertaining part of this post, because it is almost fun that I leave it to you. Since today we have to know a little more about The Lion King, I leave here the 14 curiosities that you probably did not know about the movie. Ok, maybe not all, but surely you did not know. Action!
1. Scar, the lion of Jeremy Irons The character of Scar, the evil brother of the king, is essentially inspired by the tiger Shere Khan, but the animators decided to reflect the facial features of Jeremy Irons (the actor who gives him life) in him due to how integrated the actor was in his character. Also, as well as detail, Scar is the only lion we constantly see the claws. A feature that was added in order that at all times it was known who was the bad guy in the movie. 2. The King of the Selva The original title of The Lion King, was to be "The King of the Jungle." But after performing the production team their due documentation work because ... it turns out that they realized that the lion does not live in the jungle, but in the African savanna. In addition, and here comes the interesting thing, to properly capture the behavior and movements of the lions in the drawings, the animation team took a large lion and a small lion to the studio. And if something was really difficult to draw were the whiskers, yes, because they had to be drawn on separate pages to add them later. 3. Can You Feel The Love Tonight Elton John was quite angry when in the previous screening before the premiere of The Lion King, the song "Can you feel the love tonight" had been suppressed from the love scene between Nala and Simba. So he demanded that he include the song again, and notice where he received the Oscar for Best Original Song, as well as the BSO composed by Hans Zimmer, Oscar Award for Best Original Soundtrack. 4. Names in Swahili Some of the names of the characters in the movie are inspired by words from the Swahili language: Simba means lion, Nala is a gift, Sarabi mother simba means mirage and Rafiki means friend. However we found a different case, that of Scar, which comes from English and means scar.
5. "Here comes the lion, father” How many times have you sung “the stork” at the beginning of the movie? Well, what comes to be a stork does not say, rather what it sings is "Nants Ingonyama bagithi Baba", it is in the Zulu language, a language typical of the African continent and means: "Here comes the lion, father." And as you will surely be wanting to know what the whole song is like, here I leave it. 6. Team B animation It's funny what happened to The Lion King, it turns out that the main animation team, Team A (we're not going to make jokes, okay?) Was working on Pocahontas, which promised to be the Disney star movie. And team B, those who were not the main animators, were developing The Lion King, since they had little hope that the film would be successful at the box office, and both were being made at the same time. As life has that ironic sense of humor, The Lion King turned out to be Disney's highest grossing film with a collection of 968,483,777 million, compared to the not-so-good reception of Pocahontas with 346,079,773 million raised. 7. The scene of the stampeda The realization of the Ñus stampede scene, which inevitably leads us to the death of Mufasa, cost a whopping 3 years. Getting animate hundreds of animals that run in the same direction and avoid that at the same time they collide with each other, it was an extremely complicated animation work, to the point that they developed a new animation program for the computer. 8. The death of Mufasa The toughest scene in the entire Disney Universe was undoubtedly the death of Mufasa, and although we have not yet recovered, you know it was even worse. In its origin it was much harder but they had to soften it, since after showing the scene to a few children in the study, they began to cry without comfort. 9. An army of hienas To create the parade of the army of hyenas in front of Scar the animators were inspired by Hitler and his troops. 10. Rafiki, a crazy sage character is inspired by the figure of a monk, and therefore these are wise and also serious. But the animators decided to give him a crazy personality.

Thor 4, Marvel confirms the god of thunder returns
The God of Thunder saga premieres in 2021 and continues with Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman
Director Taika Waititi returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (UCM) after directing Thor: 4, so this news has surprised Marvel fans. The film will be released in 2021 and is scheduled to be on November 5, 2021.
During the announcements that unveiled the Marvel Cinematic Universeduring Comic-Con 2019 in San Diego I confirm that this film will be named after Thor: Love and Thunder and, as many expected, it will be starring Chris Hemsworth. But one more surprise comes with the actor, to this film Natalie Portman (Jane Foster) and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) are returning.
The big surprise, and possibly best of all, is that this film focuses on Thor's story #1 and introduces Jane Foster's character Natalie Portman), who is characterized by being the female goddess of thunder, ensuring that she will be worthy of carrying the hammer Mjolnir, just when Thor can't handle it. This could be a new story revealing Natalia Portman as the next Goddess of Thunder.
Previously it was Taika Waititi himself who had revealed the exclusive news for The Hollywood Reporter, by ensuring that he would continue with the saga of the Thunder. For a moment he doubted whether it would be Chris Hemsworth who will take the lead role, for at the end of 2018 he became known that the contract of the act had come to an end with the producer of the superhero film.
This news forces Waititi to pause the adaptation of the manga Akira, as the announcement of Thor 4's return interferes with the director's work.
This is what is known so far of Thor 4, surely more news will come over the next few weeks. For now we know that it is made that the Thunder God of Asgard returns totake charge of his duties that he had left at the end of Avengers: Endgame.

Soccer in movies.
We all know that cinema covers a lot of ground, and football is no exception. Movies like the great saga of Gol are part of the history of cinema in the sport of football. Teams have introduced their history through the big screen, we talk about Manchester United, Chivas and Monterrey to name a few. Not only the clubs have been part of the cinematography since players also fall into this section, such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Jhoan Cruyff, Pelé and Maradona.
Undoubtedly, some cinema and sports co-exist in perfect harmony, recreating history, telling them or making a totally original

"Avengers: Endgame" is already the highest grossing film in history.
Avengers' latest film, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, has earned more than 2,789 million dollars worldwide.
"A big congratulations to the Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios teams, and thanks to fans around the world who took Avengers: Endgame at this historic height," said Alan Horn, co-president and creative director of The Walt Disney Studios, in a statement.
To get to the first place, Endgame surpassed some of the biggest blockbusters in movie history, such as Titanic, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and its predecessor, Avengers: Infinity War.
The superhero movie, in which the Avengers faced the villain Thanos, won $ 1.2 billion at the box office during its world premiere. The film took only five days to exceed 1,000 million dollars at the box office.
Disney acquired the Avatar franchise when it completed its purchase of 71,000 million of most of the assets of 21st Century Fox earlier this year.
The space series will have the opportunity to recover its box office crown as Disney plans four Avatar sequels between 2021 and 2027.
"Even with the passing of a decade, the impact of James Cameron's Avatar remains as powerful as ever," Horn added. "The talented filmmakers behind these worlds have much more in store, and we look forward to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Pandora," he said.

Disney Remakes 2019
What follows after ‘Aladdin’? Disney prepares more live action movies
The new tapes will bring back recognized company characters in their most real version.
Live action movies are here to stay. Disney has bet heavily on the creation of these tapes with the inspiration of animated classics. Its latest premiere, ‘Aladdin’, is just a sample of how much is coming.
The company managed to surprise all its followers when, one by one, it was announcing the premieres that would arrive on the screen in its live action version.
‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Christopher Robin’ were two stories that came to the movies in the last two years. This 2019 translates then, in the year with more Disney premieres in live action.
Two films have already gone through the movie theaters, ‘Dumbo’ and its most recent premiere, ‘Aladdin’, but in addition to these films there are others on the way to release in the remainder of the year. Do you want to know what they will be? We tell you.
The Lion King
The next Disney live action premiere brings the story of the most famous lion in the cartoons: Simba. With the participation of great artists and singers such as Beyoncé or Donald Glover, the new film will feature their voices to bring the characters of the plot to life. Its premiere is scheduled for July 19, hoping to far exceed the two previous films released this 2019.
The Lady and the Tramp
The love story of these puppies that conquered everyone in their animated version will return, literally, in flesh and blood. Disney will set aside the special effects to incorporate real dogs in this live action. Unlike the other titles, this movie will bet on streaming, having its premiere on November 12 on the Disney plus platform.
Mulan
The bravest princess of all, Mulan, will also have her live action version. This is probably one of the most anticipated tapes of 2020, the year it reaches the big screen. The actress Liu Yifei, will be the face of the young protagonist, while Niki Caro, will be the director who gives life to this exciting story located in China.
Cruella de vil
The villain of the 101 Dalmatians will also have her own movie. Disney trusts the story behind Cruela de Vil so she already plans her starring version for this character. In 1996 Glenn Close dyed his hair bicolor for the character in the first live action movie inspired by the animated film. For the new version, Emma Stone will be in charge of representing the evil woman. There are not many details of the film or its probable release date.
In the sights
In addition to creating its original content and new deliveries of existing films, Disney does not take your finger off the line in the return of these classics in live action version. If something is left over to Disney, it is precisely stories, so it is speculated that it is already working on adapting new titles, among them: ‘The Little Mermaid’, ‘Lilo & Stich’, ‘Peter Pan’, to name a few.

On June 20, the fourth installment of Toy Story was released, and in November next year it will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. There are plenty of reasons to talk about one of the biggest hits on the film scene and animated films. For its production they invested 30 million dollars and raised more than 350 million, becoming a cinematic success.
It was supposed to be the starting point or the beginning of the Pixar era, it is that so many good times and magnificent works have given us. Therefore Toy Story can proudly boast being the first animated film in history to be nominated for the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. She was also nominated for Best Original Music and won the Oscar for Special Achievement. And today it's time to comment on 20 curiosities about Toy Story and how they were shaping it.
1. The first Pixar movie, 20 curiosities toy story, the governing film.
Toy Story was the first official Pixar movie and the first to be created entirely by computer. What was a before and after in the history of cinema.
2. Tin Toy as the protagonist, 20 curiosities toy story, the governing film.
At the beginning the idea was to have Tin Toy, the character of a Pixar short film created in 1988, as the protagonist of the film. But the producers thought that this character was somewhat outdated, so they started despite what types of toys children would use at that moment. That was how Buzz Lightyear was born.
3. You are a toy, 20 curiosities toy story, the governing film.
The original name of the film was You Are A Toy, which has been "You are a toy". That by the way, we could hear it in the form of a phrase within the film itself. Woody tells Buzz.
4. The voice of Tom Hanks, 20 curiosities toy story, the governing film.
Tom Hanks is the one who puts the voice to Woody in the original version of Toy Story. The funny thing is that the actor did not finish reading the script, and what they did was to draw dialogues from other films in which the actor worked.
5. Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, 20 curiosities toy story, the governing film.
The one in charge of interpreting Buzz at first was going to be Jim Carrey, but due to the lack of budget they opted for Tim Allen. While in the Spanish version, I imagine that most of you already know it well, it is José Luis Gil who gives him a voice.
6. In honor of Andries Van Dam, 20 curiosities toy story, the governing film.
It is rumored that Andy's name is in honor of Andries Van Dam, a pioneer in animation and computer science, as well as vice president of research at Brown University in Providence. And by the way, he taught many of the creators of the film.
7. Inspired by a real character, 20 curiosities toy story, the governing film.
Sid Phillips' character is inspired by a real person, specifically a former Pixar employee. In addition to the last name, they share the “mania” of dismantling toys to create really strange creatures with the pieces.
8. The short Luxo Jr.
We have a clear reference to the 1986 Pixar short Luxo Jr. Well, we see the lamp appear on Andy's desk and also the famous yellow and blue ball with a red star.
9. Tribute to Pixar short films.
When Woody climbs on the "lectern" to speak at the meeting that the toys have, we see several books placed on the bookshelf behind him. As it turns out, the titles that can be read on the back of the books belong to different short films developed by Pixar. What's more, even the name of the film's director appears.
10. Giving movement to the soldiers.
To create the movement of the soldiers we see in the film, the animation team did paste several shoes on a sheet of wood. Then they tried to walk with them on, so they would get an idea of how soldiers' dolls should walk.
11. Buzz Lightyear inspired by ...
Buzz Lightyear colors were not chosen at random. Green and purple were the favorite colors of the director's wife. Likewise, the animators to design Buzz's face were inspired by Lasseter himself. And the detail of Woody's back rope is due to a Casper doll that Lasseter had in his childhood.
12. Wink at Jurassic Park.
An obvious that not everyone has to know, is that Rex was included in the film because at that time everyone was talking about the success of Jurassic Park.
13. Negotiations with Hasbro and Mattel.
Pixar contacted the Hasbro toy company, to include the G.I. Joe in the movie. But of course, when they revealed that the idea was that Sid was going to blow one of them up, they refused. They also called Mattel to include a Barbie in the movie, but as they thought the feature film would not succeed they scrapped the offer. What happened after? That was a success, so when the sequel to Toy Story was announced it was Mattel who called Pixar and asked him to include Barbie. Of course, if there was a toy that benefited from Toy Story was the telesketch board. And it is that the company was on the broken bench before the premiere of the film, but after the premiere they increased their sales and saved themselves from ruin..
14. The origin of Pizza Planet.
The original idea was that Pizza Planet be called Pizza Putt and be a restaurant with the theme outside of miniature golf. It was supposed to be a parody of the Pizza Hut franchise, but later they decided that the theme was space and called Pizza Planet. In this way Buzz might think that he could really return home in a spaceship.
15. The participation of John Lasseter.
The voices of the Martians were put by the director himself, John Lasseter, who to get that effect in his voice decided to suck a little helium.
16. Julie Macbarfle.
In Sid's backpack you can see that there are several drawings made in pencil. In one of them specifically you can read: "Julie Macbarfle has cooties" - what has been "Julie Macbarfle has lice". It is a tribute to the camera manager, since he kept insisting that his name appear in the film.
17. Cinematic references.
We can find a clear reference to The Shining on the carpet in the lobby at Sid's house. It is inspired by the one in the Overlook Hotel. There are also a couple of references to Alien on Pizza Planet.
18. Wink at a fudge at home.
Another reference, this time to a series, is the toolbox on the plastic box in which Buzz and Woody are trapped. It belongs to the fictional brand Binford, which is the same as Tim Allen used in the series A fudge at home.
19. The Pixar seal.
Here comes that little wink that appears in all Pixar movies. In the license plate of Andy's mother's car, the famous A 113 appears, which was the number of the classroom in which many of the animators who work at Disney and Pixar studied. If you look we can also see the registration NOV and the number 95, referring to the date on which the film was released.
20. The Mickey Mouse cameo.
As you know, a Mickey Mouse appears in every Disney movie. Well, in Toy Story we see it inside the giant clock that is hanging in Andy's room.

From a couple of years ago, if we take a close look at horror films these days, we’ll find a recurrent theme and that’s: motherhood. That’s right, we bet you already came up with a movie title with this subject just now, and I also bet that once you see this, you won’t be able to stop finding these types of movies.
Now, the question is; why is this subject the main plot of so many blockbuster movies, or at least heavily explored in said films? I believe we would have to start off by calling out the best examples, so here we go: The exorcist, Rose Mary’s baby, Psycho, Friday the 13 th , The others, Goodnight Mommy, Cary, Mother, The Babadook, Hereditary, Us, The Prodigy and of course The Curse of La Llorona.
To better explain the co relation between the subject and how it is that it’s explored in different films (since the subject is not portrayed in the same way in all of these movies) we will take a couple of examples and depict how motherhood can be a horrifying thing to film.
The first one to pick apart would be the film classic; Psycho. And if you’ve watched the movie then you might already be thinking about the fact that Norman’s mom isn’t even in the film since, she’s dead, however the effects of her inadequate and perverse mothering are clear. Norman’s impulses are directly connected to a lifetime of mommy issues. The take on this film is how the results of bad mothering could literally take people’s life as a consequence.
Now, if we talk about Rose Mary’s baby, we land on a completely different exploration of the subject. Here we can see a depiction of what an unwanted pregnancy is, since she’s pregnant with the devil’s baby, we can see the internal debate and questioning about whether she should be a good mother and if so, how to be one when your baby daddy is literally the devil? In 2014 the Australian film, The Babadook was released, unleashing a series of films that would follow on the exploration between mental illness and the consequences that it has on their troubled kids. The topic of this film is about how mothers are expected to balance out being a good mom and still working a full-time job while being single or Guido’s if that’s the case. Of course, this does not go well for the protagonist at first since she must overcome all of these obstacles to be a good parent for her kid.
Hereditary also explores motherhood as an ongoing generational exchange of trauma and how women are harshly criticized when the time comes to choose between their professions, career or passions and their kids of families. We can come to the conclusion that the reason why all of these movies are scary or at least send shivers down your spine with certain scenes and scenarios is the fact that as a society we think of mothers as nurturing, caring, kind people who will -without a doubt- give it their all to their kids and families without resenting or developing negative feelings after having to be everything but selfish.
So, when this does happen, is a very scary thing to think of the person who helped you mature and protected you as someone who has been secretly resentful of having to leave their career or interests because of you, and now they probably even hate you.
