School Girls vs. Sweets & Stuffed Animals

Kazuhiro Hori (堀一浩) recently completed a group show, “Tengai 2.0” curated by Tenmyouya Hisashi. His works focus exclusively on depressed school girls languishing in strange worlds filled with cream, candy & menacing toys. He seems to be following a trend of Japanese artists, such as Aida Makoto & Shintaro Kago who are debasing school girls as modern symbols of Japan. ● More Kazuhiro on Facebook
