I swear I never really know what to do with myself when it's the off season, especially when I'm not exactly that it's already the off season for me. My mind is still on the game and feeling like I should be in the play offs, but my body is back home being a lazy bum and playing possibly too much Call of Duty. I'm currently planning a vacation, possibly going to be a solo one so I can pout a little by myself. But I'm also looking for some fun things to do to keep me occupied before I got to go back to the grind of things. Anyone got any suggestions? Or better yet, anyone want to take one for the team and hang out with a pouty me? That would be pretty dope as well.

i'm sorry to hear that this season didn't work out the way that you would have liked it to. it must be incredibly frustrating. it probably doesn't help in the moment - but there's always next season, right? and think about how much more satisfying it will be when you do get there as the road wasn't easy. i'll be rooting for you and your bengals. where are you thinking of heading on vacation? sun, snow, somewhere adventurous? will you drop the pout if i say yes to hanging out? if you stay all pouty, people will think i'm bad company and i can't have that.

I can't believe it but today marks the fifth anniversary of my album Manic. All of my albums have a special place in my heart, obviously. But the memories that go along with making Manic for me will always be near and dear to my heart. That album helped me grow both as a person and as an artist and I wouldn't be who I am today without it. Whether you're a musician or just a fan of music, is there a certain album that changed your life and you hold close to your heart? @hhhqstarter
now, that's wild. what do you mean 2020 was five years ago? nope, that's not real. i actually refuse to believe it. which means badlands will be ten years old this year? actually, what the fuck. the impact that album had on us tumblr girlies. so, so good. and the music video with mr teen wolf - iconic. sorry, this was not the album you were even talking about, but here i am, deep in my reminiscing about some of your older work. but it's relevant to your question - i hold that album very close to my heart. so, what would you pick? it can't be one of your own, though.
she was so stunning that it nearly rendered the man speechless once the door finally opened, his eyes trailing all over her and drinking up the sight of cindy in person. it had been too long since they last met up, and he was the only one to blame for that. "i'm sorry, okay? i know i fucked up." he stuffed his hands in his pockets, feeling sheepish and guilty at the tone of her voice and how obviously tired she was from everything he had put her through. "i'd been kinda staying away from my texts... especially with you. i don't know what i was thinking. i just thought - i wasn't sure if it was a good idea to keep this going. but i should've just communicated with you instead of leaving you on read." it was an immature course of action, and he owned up to it. his lips parted slightly, but words were lost as he tried to figure out what else to say to make up for his ghosting. "i missed you. a lot."
her features softened slightly at the sound of his apology, her anger seeming to melt away only to be replaced by confusion. "especially with me? so, you left me on read on purpose?" cindy queried, trying to make sense of what he meant by that. when the athlete continued, it all seemed to click - he wanted whatever it was between them to end? and ouch, that stung a little more than she cared to admit. "oh. i see. so, you don't want to see me anymore? that's what it was about?" she shook her head in frustration, not bothering to voice that he should have just told her as much - the athlete clearly understood that much by this point. "joe, you're being confusing right now. you miss me, but you don't think it's a good idea to keep this going? which is it?"
joe had been sitting at home, twiddling his thumbs and nursing a soft spot for cindy even though he was hard-pressed to admit it. he didn't want her to know that he'd been thinking about her even when he left her on read. it was done purely to make sure he wasn't about to fall for someone, not after the year he had with people speculating about his breakup with his long-term ex olivia and another potential romance that was merely just a casual fuck also named olivia. he was just so damn tired of the media and his fanbase being too personally invested in his own private life. if he started pining for cindy, it would only lead to disaster. at least, that's how he conceived it in his head. yet, he couldn't stay away, not after the last message she texted, knowing if he texted back, she probably wouldn't answer. he decided to stop being a child and pussyfooting around, getting properly dressed for the first time in a while after the season ended and headed to cindy's house. striding up to her door, he hesitated for a split moment before knocking on the door. hearing the shuffling behind the entrance and the pause that ensued, he huffed, "come on, cin. i know you're in there. open the door, please. i just want to talk." / @cinkiimberly
after things had ended with dele, cindy had been just about ready to swear off of athletes for good. and then came joe, who had changed her mind for a moment, only for her thoughts to full circle back around to avoidance of all footballers being the best course of action. it wasn't like he had done anything too bad, the brunette could admit. and she wasn't sure why the action of being left on read had bothered her quite so much - likely due to the embarrassment of being made to look a little silly. so, she'd sent that last text and expected that she wouldn't be seeing, or hearing, from the quarterback again. you could imagine her surprise when she'd glanced at the ring doorbell and was met with the sight of him standing on the other side of the door. a part of her was tempted to leave him hanging, until his voice filtered through the door and she let out an exasperated sigh and relented to opening the door. "what're you doing here?" she asked, making little effort to move from where she was stood blocking the doorway. "if you're here to tell me about how it was a busy week again, then i really don't want to hear it."
it truly is! spring clean for the soul? that is the perfect way to put it! i do agree with you on this, fully. i feel like i've been just wallowing for a long while so its time to stop with that. i am working with allina liu, something different for me. i'm attempting to expand my horizons, yet another cliche! it is! the last time i went was back in 23? i normally am not this organized but we'll see! i'm sure you'll be coming up with plans in, no time!

Spain sounds like the perfect place to ring in the New Year. I was just over there not too long ago while on tour. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit. Unfortunately my New Year had minimal chaos. I stayed home on the couch like the old man I am.

i'm proud of you for making it to midnight, hails. i hate to disappoint, but i spent my new years back home with my mom. not a single midnight kiss was to be seen and i almost didn't make it long enough to stay up and watch the fireworks. so, yes, it was boring as hell, too. perhaps this year we can rectify our mistakes and ring in the new year together? it's probably too early to be making plans, but i've got to make sure i can in first before anyone else can.
well, you're clearly not as into cats as you think you are, if my face keeps popping up on your fyp, instead of all the kitten videos that exist out there. just admit it, you click like on every video of me, it's fine. i won't judge. everything is exhausting in some capacity, but podcasts and longer sit down sessions with people who are genuinely interested in me and what i'm doing, are a lot more intriguing, as it becomes more of a flowing conversation, rather than a constant ping pong session of question, answer, question, answer. no, it'll pack more of a punch if i say "cindy called you mr. all too well". i think he'll go easier on you, than me.
guilty. my likes are just video after video of you. my personal favorite are the ones of people discovering that you were on an episode of the 100 and being very confused. they make me giggle. hm, true. i'm glad you've found something that works for you. it must be nice to not get asked the same three questions over and over for once, right? will he though? i think he'll just be confused about who cindy is, really.
definitely was something i had a mild panic attack about once i did hit post. very much could have gone really bad that i don't care about fans, but i had a really great support time when i told them what i wanted to do. people seem kinder, or those that were saying things have just disappeared. took enough time to delete their messages because now they don't want to be found. i'm definitely a marvel over dc kind of girl, mainly because i've seen so much more of marvel but honestly would love to be the villain. who doesn't want to be the bad girl just a little bit?
