The father stopped the vehicle and raised his arms to show he was unarmed

ONE OF THE ARRESTED OFFICERS WAS ACTIVELY STALKING THE FATHER’S FIANCE

They are trying to claim self defense AND claim they didn’t know there was a child in the truck

They fired “no less than 18 rounds” into the truck

The father was hit but still alive. The boy ended up being shot in the head multiple times.

There is bodycam footage of the incident and every official/lawyer that has seen and spoken on it has called it horrific.

50% of all police violence victims are autistic or mentally ill. If an autistic person starts screaming or can’t look a cop in the eyes, they use that as an excuse to shoot. I hope Black Lives Matter starts talking about that, too.

Police violence hurts the mentally ill a lot and of course that also means black autistic / mentally ill kids are getting hurt and killed. Ableism is deadly.

Up until the past two years, I hadn't thought about my sexual orientation even back when I was dating both boys and girls back when I was in high school. But after meeting the love of my life back in 2018, I realized there's a name that goes with who I identify as, and at first, I thought I identified as Bisexual.

But now that I think about it, I feel more as though I identify with Pansexual. Because I love a person regardless of their gender or gender identity.

I have a boyfriend who is trans and I'm proud to be his girlfriend, and all I can hope for is to be the best I can be for him.

The first pride was a riot, more specifically a riot against police violence. Trans women of colour like Marsha P. Johnson paved the way for the celebration of pride today. You cannot celebrate your pride this month, or any month if you aren’t also supporting Black Lives Matter and the riots going on against police violence right now. Us white LGBTQ+ need to stand up for our black siblings and their rights, their struggles. We need to amplify their voices and show any support we can.
