Welcome to the Tumblr for my Etsy shop! I’m finally getting back into selling my crafts after a couple years of stepping back and refining my skills. I can tell you, being able to metalsmith and fire ceramics is an absolute game changer. On this blog, I’ll post not just merch links, but process pics and if I get around to it, videos too!

The best thing about how I craft is the versatility. I can make almost anything. From painting wood, working with resin, and sculpting on polymer clay to making gorgeous, kiln-fired faux stones set in handmade bezels, all you have to do is tell me the details. Can’t forget the metal clay either! In silver, copper, bronze, brass, and a few shades of iron!

Finished this the other night. Not on my shop yet as I will get better pictures soon. Had so much fun making the ring shank itself with new soldering techniques and trying mixed metals. To top it off, the bezel is hand painted porcelain 💜

Ring is a size 7, brass with copper accents.

So my torch didn’t die, but I ended up getting a new one before I was aware. So now my not-dead torch has a buddy :)

So copper is being a little diva. I’m having to cover the whole piece in flux and not just the parts I want to solder. This is to prevent it from turning *all* into rusty fire scale. But now I have to deal with the solder not color matching. I am newly aware that leaving the piece in used pickle should “plate” it.

I almost had a new piece ready to upload to the market, but I ended up over-sanding the bezel to the point it looks corroded.

Copper will still be no match for my persistence :)
