“So i found out about these human desserts and decided to make one for myself. I call it a spider chocolate milkshake~!” Muffet beamed happily, as she slid over a glass that contain the milkhake with a spider on top. “It’s my first time making it,” She explained still smiling. “Does it taste good?”

   “Spider chocolate milkshake?” Toriel blinked momentarily before examining the dessert that was slid over to her.  She brought it up to her mouth, minding the spider and tasting the milkshake. A burst of flavor overcame her and she moved her gaze over to the other. A soft smile over took her features. “This is actually very good for your first time making it,” she complimented. “I’m sure it’ll be even better once you’ve made it a few more dozen times or so.”

“Is it the same book you were reading when I first met you? Or is it a different snail book?” The child asked, moving to peer at the book that had been placed in the other’s lap.

After a few moments, they nodded, moving to find a perch to seat themselves on. It was better to listen when they were completely comfortable, after all. And while they did want to get going with their plans, they couldn’t seem too eager. Otherwise, Toriel would possibly suspect something was up.

 “It is a different book. I finished that one ages ago.” She chuckled before opening the book again and moving a finger along one of the pages to find a good one to tell the child. Tori took her time, but ended up finding a fairly interesting one.

"Some species of snails actually hibernate during the colder months of the year. They cover their bodies with a thin layer of mucus, which prevents them from drying out! That is so cool, isn’t it?"

“What are you doing?”

The inquiry came in an innocent tone, as Frisk approached Toriel with a small grin on their face. This was perfect… Toriel would never suspect that innocent little Frisk was just playing games with her. They could probably do at least a few things before she figured out that something was up!

Still, it was better to make sure that she didn’t suspect a thing before proceeding.

Tori blinked at the voice that she knew very well. She peeked her eyes from over the top of her book, smiling brightly at the small child. She closed her book, with a bookmark in place of course, and placed it upon her lap gently.

“Hello, my child.“ she greeted in response. "I am just reading a book of snail facts. And they are very interesting! Would you like to know one of the facts?”

Sans looked back at Toriel nodding in agreement. “i’m pretty sure it will. i always here the humans say it’s pretty cool.” He snickered at his pun and tried to step on to the rink but he only but a single foot on it before falling flat onto his face. “that…..kinda hurt.”

Tori began to laugh at his slip and pun. She took a moment to collect herself and wiped small tears that had been pooling in her eyes. “Oh dear, I am sorry for laughing! But are you okay, Sans?” she bent over and picked him up from his flat faced position.

Finally a grin appeared on her face. “I thought you knew how to handle the ice. Living in Snowdin and all must’ve given you some sort of skill, correct?” She placed him back down outside the rink and waited for some sort of response.

The child smiled a little before looking up at Toriel, convincing her still. “Well, to me it was! I’d just bl-blacked out all of a sudden, th-then I feel like I saw everything in…someone else’s body..you, some skelet…um..then I woke up! S-so it’s all just a bad dream!” Mid-sentence, Chara cut off their statement. They might’ve given away that they’d been in a certain human’s body for quite some time..guess they never really watched their words often. “B-but Mom, what’s…ch-changed? Where’s Azzy?” They said in a somehow quick manner, sounding realistically excited.

 Toriel suddenly felt a sharp pain slice through her at the mention of her deceased son. She smiled sadly at the child. Finally a bitter chuckle left her and she looked up to the ceiling with a distant look. Despite this possibly being a figment of her imagination, she decided to tell them.

“He is no longer with us. He returned home to us one day and turned to dust before our very eyes.”

The child had been living for quite some time. Later having convinced Frisk to give them their soul, they regained enough power to have been living again. After being awakened from their death, however, their unknown plans would soon carry out, if none had stood in their way. This was just the first part of the plan; convincing everyone that they’re still alive, despite taking the body of another human.

“I didn’t! It was all j-just a bad dr-d-dream!” Chara intentionally stuttered, attempting to make their statement all more believable.

 Toriel continued to eye them warily. But soon cleared her throat. The intense shock that had plagued her that moment soon dispersed into curiosity. She stepped forward before  moving one of her hands ontop of her head and giving a sigh. 

 “I feel that is false.. But I really have no clue what to think currently.”

When I joined this fandom, I was just a tiny little soulless fluff. I gained so much love by being here and making so many wonderful, precious friends. It’s silly. I barely know many of you all, and yet…

Hee hee hee.

This is just my first bias list, but I hope to make so many more in the future. All of you mean so much, even if we may only watch each other from a distance. So I wanted to use this as a chance to share this feeling of happiness and write about some of the people that have helped make my roleplay experience so wonderful.
