Formally the previous Mother Superior of the Church of the Baker, and once Metalwork Dragon's right hand woman. She was on a personal missionary quest, one that eventually led her to a mysterious empty town with a dark spring. Fearing for the safety of the towns cookies she attempted to purify the spring…only to fall in. She didn’t know how long she was in the spring…only know she came back out…different.

She returned to the church, calling herself abyssal tar. Claiming that she discovered the true almighty power to worship. Metalwork dragon battled her and won, but spared her life under the condition she never return. He later grew to regret letting her go.

A barbed wire whip is her main weapon. Her old self IS there...just...buried deep DEEP down. She is capable of falling in love and empathy, it's just, way more unlikely now. Though, those manage to escape her catch her interest. She currently lives in an abandoned church and has become local legend.

Void shadow is a disguised Umbrum and the child of King Sombra. They were created by King Sombra not long into his rise to power in the Crystal Empire, made to be a fail safe if he were ever defeated. One thing King Sombra didn't account for is how the magic of the empire effected Void Shadow. Born with empathy and the crystalline eyes of a Crystal Pony, they always keep their eyes closed as King Sombra made them feel ashamed of them. When they grew into an adult Umbrum, long after King Sombra's defeat, they met Lotus and eventually fell in love.
