Now that it is almost june, Im not even gonna hope that there won't be any stupid discourse. I know that it will happen, no matter the social media I'm in. I saw Mara Wilson's story about how older men tried to message her and photoshoped pictures of her in sexual ways as a child. This is horrible, disgusting. Also, this to me is just another point on why I don't aprove of RPF of minors. As they are children they can consent to you writing a sexual fanfic about them, also live action media is a different type of fiction then manga or games for exemple. The actors of the shows and movies we love are real people, and when it comes to that its important to consider them outside of the charcter too. Even if the concept of the charcter Matilda is fictional, the actor who brought her to "life" in the movie was not. Being atracted to the image of a real child is not okay, its pedophilia.
