Please join us for Jeff Wolin's honorary retirement lecture on Friday, April 29 at 5PM in Fine Arts 102.
Japanese-American photographer Patrick Nagatani will be giving a lecture on Friday, April 1 at 5 PM in the Fine Arts Building room 102. He will be doing a book signing following the lecture. Books are available for purchase at the Friends of Art Bookshop, located on the first floor of the Fine Arts Building. We hope you can join us and please share this with anyone who might be interested.
Jeff Woolin, Andrew Lumsdaine, Zach Norman, and Georgi Chunev are finalist in this year’s National Science Foundation Visualization Awards (Vizzies). Please share and vote for the photograph for the “People’s Choice Award.”
WHAT: Progressive photography tour with Jeffrey Wolin
WHEN: Sunday, April 19th, 1 PM to 3:30 PM
WHERE: Beginning at the IU Art Museum, Bloomington, Indiana
Photographer and CIPS Director Jeffrey A. Wolin will lead a series of short gallery talks on his work at the IU Art Museum, Monroe County History Center, and Pictura Gallery in downtown Bloomington, related to exhibitions happening at each location. The tour begins at the IU Art Museum, where a schedule and directions to the other locations will be distributed. Work from throughout Wolin's career will be on view, including many works that relate directly to Bloomington in their subject matter. The progressive tour is free and open to the public.

French Photography Today A Lecture by Jean-Louis Poitevin Wednesday, April 8th- 6 PM Theater Building, A201- Indiana University Jean-Louis Poitevin is a writer and an art critic. A doctor in philosophy, he is the author of many books and articles on contemporary art and literature. Between 1998 and 2004 he was cultural attaché and director of the French Institute in Stuttgart and Innsbruck.
