A longer love letter to audio fiction (this might become a series)
Season 1 of WITCHPUNK is fully available and we’re working on season 2. It’s a gritty cyberpunk audio drama with great characters, lots of action and high production values. And it’s independent. Listen ad-free whenever you get your podcasts!
www.Citeogpodcasts.com
We have done a promo swap with the excellent Project Gnosis! Between it and Witchpunk, you’re covered for all your cyberpunk, witchery and mythology needs!
😀
Roles are unpaid but if you are VA and interested in being part of season two of Witchpunk, we will be doing a casting call (Casting Call Club and google forms) for the first half of August with roles cast by end August and recording to be done by first week of October.
This is a heads up as this will be a short sharp casting call! I reckon around 25 or so roles of varying size will be offered (we’re finalising the script right now). I’ll post again on Tumblr when the call is live.
Podcast Girls Week Day 3: Wet Cat Wednesday
Continuing the Sims Pod Girls series, one girl stood out above the rest when I considered for who was going through the horrors.
Welcome to Simsixtence, Sister Carpenter. I promise you that in this new world there is no god but me and I'm too easily distracted to put you through anything worse than a fruit cake.
I also wanted to take a swing at Alice and Roya of Witchpunk for this prompt. I think even for only having the one season, they've seen some shit.
Also, it's kind of hard to get a good non-cheerful screenshot in this mode. So just imagine these girls on vacation from the Horrors.
These are really cool!
On Audio Drama Sunday if you want your Cyberpunk fix while waiting for AppleTV ‘s Neuromancer, then why not check out the full bore action and cool characters of WITCHPUNK. The future ain’t what it used to be.

as an american the scariest part of horror podcasts from other countries is how often they call ambulances like i know there's a scary monster that injured you or something but you don't CALL AN AMBULANCE you'll be in debt FOREVER
I asked the Witchpunk cast whether they were up for getting season two also out this year (which is pretty damn ambitious).
All I’m hearing so far are yes’s.
Well, we’re doing it. Because we’re crazy like that.

Woohoo! Thanks to everyone who’s listened! An especially big thanks to everyone who’s supported us by spreading the Witchpunk word!
Witchpunk: Season One
I finished the first season of Witchpunk. If you're a fan of cyberpunk, you should check it out. My favorite bit was how the exposition via the news came with a probability-of-being-true rating, which is just *chef's kiss*.
Happy Audio Drama Sunday my beloveds! Trying not to be overwrought by the Tasks ™ this weekend, we’ll just see how that goes. At least there is audio drama.
🧪 I can't believe I forgot to talk about @theholmwoodfoundation's new bonus episode last week. The sheer...I guess I'm looking for the word brutality, in the way that Elena was treated by the foundation definitely shows it to be a different sort of organization than (I bet) Mina ever meant it to be. But maybe I'm wrong; this is not the first time Holmwood's played with an "alternate history" sort of Dracula interpretation. Can't wait for more.
🦄 Let's hear it for Witchpunk's first season! I really love what @citeogs did with this series. It's hard for a piece of media to capture just how doomed cyberpunk feels for its characters, but Witchpunk frikkin did that, with some of the most excellent political worldbuilding I've seen in a long time. I love this show, I love the characters, I love the story.
⬛️ Like, what do I even say about @midnightburgr? That it made me cry this week? It made me cry this week. I'm really proud of Casper's character development and his newfound sense of fatherhood. Trying no matter what (even if it's hopeless) because it matters is such an important message right now.
💻 I had the pleasure of meeting maybe like, 80% of the @san-lazaro-podcast team at @tafcon, and boy oh boy did those delightful humans make we want to hear their show. And THEN, what do I find but the most compelling opener for a zombie apocalypse story that I have ever heard? The absolute finesse of the three story prologues that currently make up Radio San Lazaro is incredible. If you want a masterclass in writing (and then an excellent example of how to run a volunteer project!), check this show out.
🌔 I'd be remiss if I didn't mention The Harbingers, which wrapped up its first season this week with a bang. I'm not always a fan of the way Gabriel Urbina builds characters, but I can't argue with his storylines. This show slaps. Of course no one's getting away with sending Boston to the moon; that doesn't mean the story’s over.
🍂 I want to get a little more attention on the crowdfund for Fallen Memories! It’s a warm and cozy audio drama that I happen to know has been in the works for ages, and darnit, I want to hear it! Give them your money! Their first episode is up on youtube now!
That’s it for me, see y’all later!
All the reasons you should give Witchpunk a go! 😀
The sixth episode is out now. In this one, a visitor visits, a shadow lurks. Question is: was it the devil crawling up MS Svalbard, or was it all just a fever dream?
I hope you like it!

Who’s knocking on the door, and who’s gathering in the streets below? And who sucker punched that corp AI? So many questions, only one way to find out: season finale of Witchpunk drops next week.
