The 100th episode is always a milestone, even though it was my first and all I did was the mansion scenes. Doug Robertson was the sound mixer for the Shipping Wars Season 7 episode 20 "Marc and Jenn's Munsters Mission" by Megalomedia on A&E Originals.It was great working with Butch Patrick and Pat Priest, the surviving cast members of The Munsters a show that began in 1960.

Features include IFB for talent, Dante interconnection, source assignment routing of up to twelve 2-wire groups, two channels of analog I/O, and two channels of program. The kit is compact and reliable with recognized industry familiar components. There are six wired two channel beltpacks, two IFB dual channel sets and 7 single channel wireless headsets. The Studio Technologies 45R has two receive/transmit channels and enough 'wet' power to drive the Eartec RTS bridge by itself plus a beltpack or two.

I was hired by Konspiracy Studios to record the Whistle Sports episode of I Can Do That presented by Oikos with Antoine Winfield Senior and Antoine Winfield Junior. It was a pleasure to work with these two gentlemen of the game. The shoot itself combined a broad range of services that express the expertise and experience of Citizen Doug Productions. Classic seated two camera interviews were supported with time code by Ambient Recording’s Nanolockits and ACN. Both cameras were fed hard wired feeds while clients attended remotely via Zoom. The product portion was shot with the same rig, less the interview boom mic. A touch of Sound Devices Noiseassist on the 888 came in handy in the large, round multistory foyer where the interviews took place. Finally the competition fed the Canon Eos Cinema cameras via Lectrosonics IFB reference audio. Lav belts were used to ensure resilience of the gear and our mic’ing techniques insured weather and activity immunity. The result is a consistent tonality to the fun of competition without a change in quality from one scene to the next. All the while, the safety of the talent was ensured. The MTP60 is a leap forward for the legendary line of Wisycom transmitters. The first Symphony transmitter has wide band transmission range: 470-900MHz, built in 32 bit timecode audio recorder, and a super quiet preamp that goes from instrument to line level with 48V phantom, plus the implementation of Bluetooth real time control of key parameters via app for phone or tablet. Need to peel a character off with a single camera? Switch the transmitter into record and walk away. Need to record in a car? Don’t drop the bag, just record with the MTP60. There’s change in the energy of the actor? Adjust the gain of the transmitter remotely while it happens. Need to preserve batteries in a hard to access mic? Turn off the transmitter without digging into the costume. Traveling around the world? Almost any available spectrum can be used. Name the transmitter with the character name so the recordings are easily discovered as files.
