Felix rounded the corner almost at a sprint and skidded to a halt next to Ikora, colliding with the railing and leaning over it to catch her eye. Her heart was pounding - not because of the run but because she had already begun to have second thoughts. Her entrance had been sloppy and silly; her outfit was mismatched and her shirt wasn’t clean; nothing about her was suited to the situation. She was a person who didn’t date trying to take a person who didn’t do second dates on a second date. The idea tied itself into a knot over and over as she panicked, trying to think of something else to say.

“You know those things decrease your lung capacity and rate of oxygen absorption,” she said after a half second that felt like an eternity. The words tumbled out of her mouth in a nervous rush as she gestured with a clumsy hand to Ikora’s cigarette, and she was already berating herself for them before she had even finished.

When Felix met with the railing, Ikora couldn’t help but look her over. She had a nice body ( although Ikora noted that looser clothing seemed to be more her style - to hide, or just for comfort? ) and was pleasing to look at, as far as feminine folks go...and extra points for the butch style. Typically femmes were easier to go after ( and they also tended to swoon and dote more often, which was great for her ego ), but what’s the fun in routine? This one was interesting, and interesting was...somewhat rare these days. There was something to be chased here - and Ikora was interested to see where it would go.

The smoking comment did catch her a bit off-guard, though. With a skeptical blink at Felix, she didn’t hesitate to flick the half-burnt cigarette over the railing without a second thought. A brief and knowing smirk lit her face as she turned to better face her newfound companion.

“That’s what we’ve got resets for, love.” She took a deep, showy breath and released it as a sigh, smiling as she did. “‘S Never been a problem for me. What’re we gettin’ up to, huh? D’you bring me out here for a reason?”
