Regarding A Shift

If you’ve visited Stockades & Salamanders recently, you’ve probably noticed there’s no more website accompanying it. As it so happens, we’ve recently come into some financial difficulty, so actually funding a website hosting is not possible for us at this time.

However! All progress has not been lost. I name-hoarded cjnium when we first got started as a just-in-case measure and here it is. This blog will continue to operate as normal, acting as S&S’s announcement mouth, while the rest of S&S will be located here.

Our backup base of operations is still a work in progress, but every page up until now is on there.

However, so that we can eventually fuel the funds to properly host a website again, we will be going into hiatus again.

Yeah it stinks considering we were barely back a few weeks, but these things happen. If you’d like to help us out here, I will be open for commissions again soon, and I will announce it here when I am.

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope everyone else has been having a good one. I caught a stomach bug and probably something else when I woke up this morning...

That being said, you may have noticed- I haven’t been updating!

And I didn’t update like I said two weeks ago too!

...Yeah... Yeah that’s all me. If I’m not motivated enough to work I’m too distracted by something else to work. The page might have been out last week on time, but well... Holidays and a large family. Either way, I’m sorry you’ve all got an extremely lazy artist heading this, but that’s what New Year’s Resolutions are for.

My New Year’s Resolution is to get my art commitments out on time, so that includes Stockades & Salamanders. I should prrrrroooooobably resolve to do some other stuff, but baby steps here.

Anyway, assuming the bug doesn’t get me down, I might be able to get the page out before the end of the day. If not... Well, what can ya do?

Hey folks! A... Another week without a new page... Believe me, we hate missing updates as much as you guys probably hate not getting them. This will change next week where we hopefully swing back into a proper updating schedule!

Until then, here’s a Star Wars themed illustration! The Force Awakens came out recently and all I know is that there are a pack of wolves ready in every corner of the Earth should spoilers get out. So keep your yaps shut!

There’s been a bit of radio silence and for that I (Mark) apologize. I’ll admit I haven’t been making the comic my number one priority. Here is a rushed compensatory doodle that was supposed to be filled last Friday but never was.

I’d say it hasn’t been my priority because I have to study for my finals this week but uh… No I just got sucked into Cave Story and Other Distractions hell. If you follow me you definitely know what I’ve been up to.

Cave Story is a very fun and not super long of a game by the way. It is available for free on PC and comes with extra features if purchased on Steam as Cave Story+, retail 3DS, or the 3DS eshop. The eshop and Cave Story+ are alike in features, but if you like the look of the retail version it is your call.

News Update for the page: …Still running late. Sorry folks, the art caterpillar has been feeling mega sluggish as of late and it’s impeded progress. The update that should’ve come out three weeks ago is set for this Friday instead. You’ll all get your Senanigans eventually, folks! Here’s a hint of what you’ll be in for.
