Once before, he might’ve wafted away Crane’s concerns with a casual paw. Suspicious didn’t matter much to Tai Lung - but the days of ignoring Crane and getting into all the fights because of it were gone.

“Right.” nodding in acknowledgement he hurries ahead through the market place still keeping a somewhat casual pace to not attract too much attention. It’s been years since he and Tai Lung had been partners again on a mission but in light of recent events of having reconciled with one another, working together became much less of an effort.

seconds passed, a minute felt like it flew by as Crane waited for some sort of apology or an attempt that never came so, he did the only thing he could do and laugh. Not in a boisterous manner like one would after hearing a very horrible joke; it was normal, and with a snap of his talons and a click of his tongue Crane acknowledges the peacock’s statements and request in a state of momentary exuberance.

“Right, and if you weren’t of noble heir I probably would’ve taken the liberty of air bending you to the other side of the valley since that’s how ridiculously strong my technique is.”

There it was! Couldn’t forget the smart-ass remark. Turning to the general direction of the temple, the master made his walk towards the steps. “Have fun moving that furniture!”
