AU where Damian comes to Gotham with Jason instead of Talia bringing him to Bruce. (But plot twist, the Lazarus Pit gave Damian healing abilities to rival its own when he is put into the Lazarus Pit for the first time so Damian is essentially Jason’s personal doctor.)
What I imagine is after Damian gets his healing powers, Ra’s also has taught by doctors to hone the effectiveness of his gift so Damian also has the practical skills of an actual doctor/surgeon.
Idk why or how Damian ends up going with Jason, maybe Talia sends him off with Jason or Jason kidnaps him it doesn’t really matter.
All that matters is now Red Hood has a miracle doctor working under him as well who doesn’t accept payment, therefore the citizens of Crime Alley are far more loyal to Red Hood because he has a trustworthy doctor who does more for them than anyone else has and doesn’t need to be paid like regular hospitals (disregarding the fact that said doctor is, in fact, 12).
This is also an increasing problem for the bats as new Crime Lord Red Hood also has a highly trained mystery doctor under him who is very protected by Red Hood’s goons and is winning the hearts of Crime Alley. Also the fact that they can’t seem to find out anything about them accept for a code name the streets seem to be calling him: Asclepius.
This mystery doctor becomes more of a problem when reports come in of said doctor holding Scarecrow with a scalpel to his throat after the rogue broke into his operating room with intentions to gas everyone while he was in the middle of a surgery with a young child.
Red Hood and Asclepius become a legendary duo in Gotham and an increasing headache to the bats who can’t seem to find anything on them and are unsure of their intentions.
Damian: Akhi, I didn’t stitch all your wounds up and nurse you like a fucking baby for you to leave your bed and get more hurt.
Jason: You literally have healing powers??? Why not use them???
Damian: You know I only use them in dire situations, besides, you too need a break every once in a while.
Jason: I have crime shit to do, I can’t stay here!
Damian: I will take care of it while you are on bed rest.
Jason: Ah yes, you, a doctor, can handle a crime syndicate with high profile enemies.
Damian: I am the son of Talia al Ghul, do not underestimate the power I can hold over people.
*Two weeks later*
One of Hood’s goons: S-sir..please…for the love of god…never put the doctor in charge EVER again.
Just Jason and Damian committing crime together and driving the bats insane :)
Maybe later down the line add Duke in there so Jason can have two meta younger brothers and Duke and Dami bonding over being metas.
