MOORCLAN ELDERS- OWLSPOTS, QUIETSCREECH

Owlspots is a strangely quiet old man, with a soft gravely voice. His favorite passtime is being with Quietscreech, or taking very slow and relaxing walks around the borders of camp. a very sweet man, a hopeless romantic. Sometimes he brings back soft rocks or nice smelling flowers, which he gives to Quietscreech.

Quietscreech was an absolute madlad in their younger years, but has seriously mellowed out by now. Since they only became blind recently, they don’t go out of camp often, but appreciate all the little things Owlspots brings to them. Although Quietscreech doesn’t show their emotions a lot, They always cuddle up close to owlspots at night. the two are very much in love.

MOORCLAN QUEEN- FLOWERMOUSE

FERRET, SPECKLE

Flowermouse is a very gentle lady as her name suggests. She has a soft voice and soft paws that hide razor sharp claws. When she’s excited or nervous, she wiggles her ears a lot.

Ferretkit is the hooligain of the hour. She ALWAYS has her nose stuck somewhere it shouldnt be, or something in her mouth that flowermouse has to pull out. ferretkit causes absolute rambunctious chaos always; her and boulderkit are a dynamic duo of havoc.

Specklekit grows into a very mean and cynical cat. She finds lack of fulfillment in her daily life, as well as distaste for the clans. her distaste soon turns into hatred towards the clans, and she later is banished for terrible crimes, becoming the first rogue to inhabit the basin. later changes her name to Frost.

MOORCLAN QUEEN- BADGERMASK

GRASS, POND, BOULDER

Anyway back to the regularly scheduled program:

Badgermask is a good lady, but jumps to conclusions too quickly. 

Grasskit grows into a very strong medicine cat. She’s very quiet and shy, but gets a little more out going as she grows older. A very sweet and devoted meddi, her long life is spent loving and caring for her clan. She is very small, and often sits back on her back legs to talk to others.j

Pondkit is a neutral character. They spend most of their life following in Boulder’s rambunctious footsteps. A good warrior.

Boulderkit grows into a good strong warrior, however his fierce curiosity can get him and Pondkit into a lot of trouble as they both grow older. always has something to say, loves being  a part of something, especially the clan. Grows into a tall thick warrior.

MOORCLAN ABOMINATION-JACKALPAW

Jackalpaw was a happy and fun loving apprentice. He pulled harmless pranks on others in the clans, he made funny faces during serious times, and always knew the exact thing to say to make others laugh. Jackalpaw was loved by everyone in the clan.

and then one day he slipped during a patrol and slid down a ravine, cracking his skull in half on the rocks below. He died. and he should have stayed that way.

but shortpaw loved him too much, and just like that, Jackalpaw rose from his shallow grave, and immediately he was... wrong. He walked back into camp quietly. His once amber eyes pale, messy fur, claws always unsheathed. Jackalpaw now never spoke unless spoken to, stared off into the walls, and didn’t breathe. everyone in the clan knew he was wrong, but shortpaw wouldn’t let anyone say a thing about it.

and Jackalpaw hated his existence. He could feel himself slowly rotting every day, even after shortpaw would start putting him back together every night. Jackalpaw felt nothing except a longing to no longer be the abomination he knew he was. and after all the chaos, during a bright thunderstorm, the nearby forest was struck by lightning and burst into flames, and Jackalpaw throws himself into the blaze against Shortpaws pleas. His last thoughts are of peace as his rotting body burns to the bone, burns to ash.

MOORCLAN APPRENTICE- REDPAW

Redpaw is intent on being a good warrior. She’s a fun girl, but she’s serious about her training. She works hard and tries her best all the time. When jackalpaw dies, she is devastated, but finds comfort in Rabbitpaw and shortpaw-even though he starts spiraling fast. When Jackalpaw returns, she knows immediately that its.......... wrong. He smells wrong and looks wrong and sounds wrong and she KNOWS he’s wrong. She unfortunately has to detach herself from both her brothers, as they both are no longer accepted in the clan. and while family is very important to her, she slowly feels more connected to her clan-members, rather than her brothers. after the entire fiasco, she eventually gets herself back together, and one day becomes leader of Moorclan.

MOORCLAN APPRENTICE- SHORTPAW

Here’s the big baddie himself!!!

Shortpaw starts his life off as a regular apprentice. He trains hard to be a good warrior, and Enjoys spending time with his siblings Jackalpaw and Redpaw, as well as his best friend Rabbitpaw.

unfortunately, halfway through their apprenticeship, Jackalpaw is killed in a terrible accident while on patrol, and this WRECKS shortpaw. he and redpaw morn together for a while, but shortpaw begins quickly spiraling down darker paths. he quickly gets himself involved in Dark Rituals, or Necromancy. He uses his new terrible knowledge to rise Jackalpaw from the dead, and bring him back to the clans. unfortunately, this has terrible consequences on the clan. Jackalpaw causes fear and is obviously slowly deteriorating, but shortpaw is blinded by his love for his brother. Even as Moonwhisker the medicine cat warns him, even as Rabbitpaw stresses concern, and even as his leader casts him and Jackalpaw out, Shortpaw doesn’t understand why Jackalpaw cant just stay.

He gets so angry at his clanmates, that he uses even more necromancy (which he has been using almost constantly to keep Jackalpaw intact) to raise more dead creatures from beneath the soil to terrorize the clan. when rabbitpaw confronts him, the two get into a big fight, and Shortpaw is killed by Rabbitpaw.

MOORCLAN APPRENTICE- BIRDPAW

not to be vulgar but Birdpaw’s a bitch. Shes like Into the Wild Sandpaw except she doesn’t change. She’s mean and selfish and annoying and antagonistic. She finds the most joy in starting fights at border patrols and getting the clan kicked out at gatherings. She’s terrible.

MOORCLAN APPRENTICE- RABBITPAW

Rabbitpaw is a wild and fun boy. He’s got heterochromia (can you tell i like that in characters he’s only like the fourth character ive done it to) and six toes like his dad. Rabbitpaw is always cracking jokes and tackling his friends with love. He is best friends with Shortpaw, they do everything together. They used to be incredibly close, but grew apart a bit after Jackalpaws death. They got closer again afterwards, but as Shortpaw made his...... decisions.... Rabbitpaw regretfully drew himself away from his best friend.

Ill delve more into their whole story in another post, but here’s the good tall skinny boy for now!

MOORCLAN MENTORS- TOUGHCLAW, CHIRPSONG, BEARFUR

Toughclaw is a stoick stern warrior who mentors Shortpaw. He’s very buisness, and strong in the ways of a warrior. He constantly teaches shortpaw how to be strong, how to do your best for the good of the clan. Not a super friendly guy.

Chirpsong mentors Redpaw. Chirpsong is a wishy washy woman who still finds ways to give excuses for not mentoring redpaw. She says she has “other important buisness” that just looks like laying around and talking to shortpaw (she wishes he was her son). Her and toughclaw used to have a relationship, but they fell apart because Toughclaw didn’t show love, and Chirpsong didn’t give it. Flakey.

Bearfur is an absolute UNIT, and he mentors Jackalpaw. While bearfur is huge and strong, and teaches Jackal how to show strength, Bearfur is a truly loving warrior. He loves to dogpile with all of the apprentices, and taking care of more casual warrior duties. While he’s an excellent teacher when it comes to strength and fighting, He also stresses the importance of gentleness towards your fellow clanmates. Since Chirpsong is a terrible mentor, He often takes Jackal and Redpaw out for training together, and after the tragic death of Jackalpaw, Redpaw is given to him to mentor full time.

MOORCLAN MENTOR- BUGTOES

Bugtoes is a flirtatious, and confrontational tom. He often gets in fights that he doesn’t need to. A fun warrior, always ready for some type of adventure. Flirts with ANY she cat in a two mile radius, regardless of clan cat or not. it can be pretty annoying and problematic. Still, He works hard for his clan, and loves teaching Birdpaw all the ins and outs of being a warrior.

MOORCLAN MENTOR- JAGGEDFOOT

jaggedfoot has six toes on each front paw and double/extra jointed wrists. It took him a bit longer to learn how to hunt and fight properly, but once he got his warrior name, he’s been one of the happiest and giggliest cats in the clan. He kind of flops around a bit when walking and running, but his extra hours of training have turned him into an excellent warrior. He’s a good and happy boy, Who mentors Rabbitpaw, his son.

MOORCLAN MEDICINE CAT- MOONWHISKER

(lmao i forgot to draw her long whiskers which is part of her namesake oh well)

Moonwhisker is a tall, lean, skinny medicine cat. She’s snarky, and always has some witty comment to say. She’s not afraid to speak her mind, and tell things like it is. but she’s still very aware of others feelings. Moonwhisker will tell you what’s what, but always in a kind way. Very loving and friendly with her clanmates, as well as the other meddis, especially Tanglefeather, who is her best friend.

MOORCLAN DEPUTY- SKYRIVER

Skyriver is a beautiful, soft spoken she-cat. she’s very gentle and kind, but very very wise. She’s a speedy fighter, and has needle sharp fangs and tough claws. Very agile and deft on her feet. There always seems to be a tom or molly or two following her around, she’s a very beautiful cat. Skyriver is sister to Jaggedfoot, a warrior of Moorclan. Skyriver is an excellent deputy, and a perfect diplomat. She loves discussion problems and issues with other clans and trying to solve problems, but she always puts her clan first.

MOORCLAN LEADER- LIGHTNINGSTAR

STAR- LIGHTNING STRIKE

Lightningstar is a tall she-cat with broad shoulders. She’s a very serious leader, whose hard set on making her clan the MOST respected in the basin. She’s not super friendly with any of the other clans; she’s kind of an all business sort of cat. She’s a strong leader though, and is very proud of all her clan members.

Once a month, Lightningstar can call down a bolt of lightning to strike down anywhere in her line of vision. It can happen at any time of day or not, but she passes out immediately afterwards. She always kind of smells like electricity, and she cannot die from electrocution (aka she can often be found high up on rocks or trees during lightning storms. she feels at home there).

Here’s a quick sketch of the Forestclan Medicine cat den! It’s all hollow and there’s holes in the top for light to come in. Brambleflower keeps herbs in little nooks in the trunk, and sleeps above everything in a homemade moss hammock.

Here’s a picture of Forestclan’s camp! some info under the cut:

-the warriors den is like a big kind of plant nest thing. It was already half grown, and the warriors worked hard for a few years to build it up.

-Daisystar lives in a hollow in a tree

-the Medicine cat den tree is all hollow, which ill show a better picture of in a second.
