I guess Sara and I will have to decide whether to stay here in Amsterdam, or head back to Star City for Christmas. If I’m being honest though, neither option seems that great. I’m sure we’ll figure it out. What are the rest of you doing for the holidays?
Ate, drank, slept, repeat. Did that for most of the week. I’m actually bored from doing that which is weird to admit.

Alex: slightly tipped his head to the side and rolled his shoulders up in a little shrug. "I guess not," he replied as he took her coat and put it away in the hallway closet. "You brought a cheese ball and didn't take a bite out of it? I'm impressed. You just earned yourself another sticker," he teased. It actually had been quite a while since Alex last had someone bring him a cheese ball. "Let's find a plate for it and see if I got some wine and crackers to go with it." he quipped, a grin working its way onto his lips when she complimented his house. "Aww thanks, now if you just ignore the artwork over there," he pointed out a spot on the wall next to the chalkboard where Faith had made a drawing earlier that day, "it looks even better." He let her to the kitchen and went to get a plate out of one of the cupboards. "Did you manage to find a place to stay," he asked.
Clari: "Thank you! I'm not one to practice self restraint and fucking hell. This was a hard one for me. But here I am. Being good. And you get the reward of an untouched cheese ball." She laughed at that towards the end of it because it was really all so fucking ridiculous. Of course the mention of the art work made Clari had the ball over to Alex as she was immediatly distracted by it. "No shit. Your kid likes to draw?" He probably already told her this but it wasn't like she was one to remember details. Clari picked up a bit of blue chalk and rolled it between her fingers. "You and me have to play a game of hang man. Maybe strip hang man if you're down for it." This was said with a wink as soon as she looked back at him. And yeah. I got a few places lined up. I won't be without a roof. Not for a long ass time at least."

Alex: "Even superwoman had a weakness," Alex reasoned as the ride started its climb and Faith crawled onto his lap and he wrapped an arm around her. "Yeah, we'll go there next. It's actually not that far, over there," He pointed it out. "This park is the go-to place for school trips in this country, and my parents used to take us here when we were younger so I have no idea... 20 times, at least. That roller coaster over there was the first one I ever been on," he told her fondly as he reached for some chips. "Thanks." It reminded him that he had packed some juice boxes so he reached into his bag and gave Faith one, offering one to Clari as well.
Clari: didn't think twice about the juice box and poked the clear straw into the top of it and sucked on it while the ride did it's ride. After a couple minutes she set the nearly drained box to the side and crossed her legs. "To be honest I didn't something like this existed here. When I heard of Amsterdam I didn't bother looking outside of it to see what's around to check out." The breeze picked up up here and her straight dark brown hair flew across he forehead and Clari scooped it behind an ear. "Did you cry after you rode that thing? I bet your girl here will totally love a ride like that when she gets taller. Ain't that right, Faith?"
