Adrian Clarke, 33 year old son of Hephaestus and owner of Hephaestus Hardware.

When Adrian proposes a raincheck on the offer of spending the day together, Camira squints her eyes playfully and taps her chin as if she’s thinking really hard. It’s all just a ruse though and soon her features turn into an agreeable smile. “All right, all right, you can go work on your silly robot today. But, next time, you’re all mine. I’ll be holding you to your word too.”

Adrian smiles brightly, taking his pointer finger and making an 'x' over his heart. "Cross my heart, I'm all yours," he swears. "And no more calling my robots silly."

"I mean you can help unless you don’t want a baking soda volcano to blow up in your face."

"It's why I asked what you need help with."

"I only feed good boys," She says smiling over at him as she walks over to the counter, "And Theo is a good boy, he gets good grades, helps me out and isn’t a smart ass." She tells him as she pulls herself up onto the counter, crossing her ankles and humming, "And the last time I let you help me out you burned the cheese so, i think i’m good doing it by myself."

"Theo is a complete smart ass," he corrects her, following her over to the counter, and making a face as she reminds him about the last time he helped her cook something. "I did not! I just don't have the magic to keep something from being burned like you do."

"You know how like everything that could possibly go wrong on something. That’s what happens with my science projects."

Adrian sighs, shaking his head. "Well do you need help with it?"

"Daughter." Mati smiled up at him, her hand moving over Josie’s head gently. She lifted a brow and tilted her head, "You have a son?" She asked, curious. It was good, to know people who were like her, single parents - or well parents all in all.

Adrian smiles at them. "She looks just like you," he observes, nodding at her question before pausing for a moment. "Well, I mean he's my son, but if we're being technical, he's my best friend's younger brother. I've helped raise him since he was five, though, so I just call him my son."

Keara should have known it would only have been a matter of time before things would have gotten out of hand. Moments like these she should be extra carefull, but lately she wasn’t quite there with her head. She wondered what reason it might be. “I am fine, but really Adrian. Watch it. ” She eyed him for a moment before the guilt sank in. “Sorry.. I shouldn’t have said it like that.”

Adrian quirks an eyebrow at her when she somewhat snaps at him, shaking his head when she apologized. "Don't worry about it, I'm the one that ran into you, I apologize," he says genuinely. "Where were you off to in such a rush anyway?" he asks curiously.

“Okay, all right, fine, maybe I have been giving those girls the run-around a little bit but they deserve it,” She confessed, knowing what Adrian said to be true. She had a bad view on the increasing population of Sirens in Olympus and it only seemed to be getting worse. She sighed, wanting to change the subject. “…That all sounds terribly boring. We should do something fun instead. I just got the best idea. How about you skip work and spend the rest of your day with me?” She asked, a large grin forming on her face.

Adrian shakes his head, laughing a bit. He knew the girls probably did deserve it, having been causing death and terror for centuries now. A few little pranks and hexes wouldn't cause any harm, he hopes. Either way, he wasn't too bothered with how Camira chose to welcome the new ones to town. She changes the subject, and he's more than happy to go along with it, letting out a huff when she tells him that the rest of his day sounds boring, and he should just skip it and spend the rest of the day with her. "You know I would love to, Cam," he says, tempted to take her up on her offer, but he really should get his work done. "How about a raincheck? You can have me for a whole day next time."

"It’s okay, really." Mati shook her head with a brief smile on her lips, before she looked down at Josie, who was now hiding behind Mati, peeking around her leg up at Adrian. "That’s Josie." Mati introduced, her hand traveling to her daughters back to nudge her encouragingly, "Say hello to the nice mister, Josie." Matie mumbled softly and watched almost proudly as Josie reached out her little hand to place it in Adrian’s. Mati’s gaze flickered to Adrian’s face, "The new place is a little overwhelming to her, she’s not usually this shy."

Adrian smiles when the little girl places her hand in his, him shaking it once before he lets go, and Josie, as he'd been told, hides behind the girl. "She's your sister? Daughter?" he questions, standing up now and humming when she explains that she wasn't this shy. "It's an overwhelming place, but little ones can adjust quickly. I remember when my boy came here. He was pretty shy, for about a few hours, then he was being a little terror all over the place," he says with a fond laugh, remembering the day Lia and Theo had come to town.

"How is everything wrong with your project?"

Hennessey laughed as well, rubbing her forehead with her free hand as she began collecting books. “It’s fine, I seem to be having the worst of luck today anyways”

Reaching down, she was careful not to bump his head again as she watched him collect the bottles for her. Once she cleared the sidewalk of her totebag and books she stood up, smiling at him when she saw the intact bottles in his arms. Taking them from him she laughed again, “at least the empty ones didn’t break, I wanted some opinions on them before I order all new bottles, and besides it isn’t like I don’t have more wine back home” she joked, handing one of the empty bottles to Adrian for him to look at, hoping she had made him feel less guilty about crashing into her.

She knew exactly what he was seeing, a completely frosted bottle with raw string wrapped around the bottle neck, grapes were raised in the glass complete with leaves and vines, a thyrsus on the front with Dionysus written underneath. It was bare, but it was bold. Biting her lip she hoped he liked it, she wanted to lure new customers to her shop with pretty glass bottles and she hadn’t seen Adrian in her shop for a while. Maybe it was the fates that she had crashed into him, now she could tempt him with the nice looking glassware.

"It's a sad waste of wine, though," he tells her, but he smiles as he hands her back the bottles, taking care that they wouldn't fall much. She hands one back to him, letting him study it. It was a gorgeous bottle, almost as though a child of Iris or Apollo had crafted it themselves. He turns it in his hand, nodding some  and smiling a little more as he looks back to Hennessey. "This is amazing, you've got a gift," he compliments, handing her back the bottle carefully. "I bet I can fashion you a bottle with that design that keeps the wine nice and chilled no matter where it is."

Hennessey grabbed his hand, hauling herself back into an upright position before looking towards the ground. Books were strewn everywhere, her tote bag a heap on the side walk as a brown paper bag laid beside it, soiled with wine and glass. Three bottles laid on the ground intact, having rolled out of the paper bag and now laid on the ground, some were empty, while one was full, the other being the one that was now smashed to pieces on the side walk. Wine spread everywhere, filling into the vein-like cracks in the side walk, glass littered the ground, creating a dangerous pattern upon the walkway.

"Shit" she swore, brushing her hair away.

She bent down only to connect her head to something else, she had hit the other person with her head! Immediately apologizing she turned red, embarrassed from the scene and her missteps. She just couldn’t believe the day she was having, it seemed.

Adrian winced when he saw all the glass on the ground, the sidewalk staining with the color of the wine. "Oh, fuck, I'm so sorry about that," he apologizes again, biting his lip as he looked at her. He leaned down to help her pick up the bottles, and to see if he could pick up some of the larger pieces of glass before Ambrosios came by and threw a fit, but then her head smacked against his, Adrian backing up and placing a hand to his forehead where she had bumped into him. He couldn't help but laugh some, unable to believe his luck. 

"No, no don't worry about it," he assures, rubbing his head some and taking the chance to lean down and pick up some of the bottles for her.

Josie’s head and eyes couldn’t get enough of the town, and Mati watched her from the sidewalk as she leaned down to touch a flower and smile down at it. Mati crossed her arms over her chest, a soft smile curled on her lips as she watched her daughter chase a butterfly around the sidewalk - but someone had knocked into her, and Mati found herself barely catching her own as she fell. She looked up, her eyes quickly searching for Josie, but the little girl didn’t seem to notice what happened. She looked up, taking the hand outstretched to help her and smiled, waving her hand off, “It’s okay. I guess it’s one way to meet people.” She laughed a bit, then glanced back at Josie, holding her arm out, “Josie, baby, c’mere.” The little girl looked up and toddled towards Mati, hiding behind her leg as she stared up at Adrian. Mati smiled down at her and smoothed back her soft brunette locks before she looked up at the man, “I’m Mati.”

Adrian smiled at the girl, glad to see he hadn't knocked her over. "Yeah sorry about that," he laughs, looking down at the little girl she had with her, now hiding behind her legs, big eyes staring up at him. "Adrian," he says, looking at the girl again, smiling a little brighter. "And who's this sweetheart?" he asks, leaning down and holding his hand out to the little girl.

Before Keara was even able to comprehent what was comming towards her, she was already forced into the ground by his body. Without uttering a single word she was cursing herself. She should have been more alert of her surroundings. Then the realisation kicked in. The contents had spilled out of her bag. “Adrien… dammit.” She sighed deeply and gathered all her things in record time.

Adrian frowns, leaning down to help Keara with her things, but she had already picked up most of them besides a couple of papers that she quickly grabbed before he could. "Are you okay?" he asks, standing with her, tilting his head at how fidgety he looked.

"By anything I hope you don’t mean my advanced science homework. Because I’d rather not even hand that in."

Adrian makes a face, shaking his head some. "What's wrong with your science project?"

Camira pouts and tries her best to pull her head away from Adrian’s hand in an attempt to end the ruffling of her hair. She fake gasps, but it quickly turns into a tight smirk as she begins smoothing out her blonde tresses. “—I’ll have you know that I get up to much more than just dealing with the Siren infestation problem around here. I’m ageless, but I still know how to have fun, Adrian. I thought you were done underestimating me,” She winks and then realizes that he’s probably headed somewhere, so she asks, “What are you up to though? Working on any new inventions?”

"Oh I know, I know," he says, shrugging some. "But for the past three weeks you've been making those girls' lives hell and you know it," he tells her, shrugging at her questions. "I was on a jog," he says, wrapping the cord to his earphones around his iPod, and thinking about anything he might be working on. "Well Lia got this little toy from this new Disney movie that came out not too long ago," he says, holding up his hands to show how big it was, about have his torso long. "It was a robot in the movie so I've been trying to recreate him for her, and then I've got the stuff people leave in the fix box outside. I'm gonna see if I can upgrade those at all."

Lia scoffs at him, biting her bottom lip as he complains about customer service, threatening to speak to her manager and she can’t help her little laugh from it, “My manager would agree.” She says, moving out from behind the counter when he walked away. She hums as she moves to stand behind him, eyes rolling as he talks about the usual fun stuff. “Oh so you expect me to just have food waiting for you whenever you stop by Adrian Clarke?” She snaps, faking an angry tone and reaching to snatch the crystal from his hands, “I’m not your mother you jerk.” She says, bumping him out of the way playfully and putting the crystal back on the shelf, “You can make your own lasagna tonight.”

"No, I expect you to have food for Theo whenever I come over, and then I can just scavenge," he says with a shrug, laughing when she snatches the crystal he was holding from his hands. "But you are Theo's mother, and you always have food for him," he says with a shrug, smirking when she says he could make his own lasagna tonight. "Now, you and I both know you can't let anyone go hungry," he hums, walking back over towards the counter. "And come on, I'll even help you out."

Lia’s eyes narrow when she hears his mocking tone, before rolling her eyes at him playfully, flipping her hair over her shoulder and humming. “Something to cure boredom,” She murmurs, letting her voice trail off as she closes the log book before leaning over the counter some, “Nope, sorry, we don’t sell anything like that here, guess you’ll just have to go some place else.” She says, mocking his pout.

"Now that's just rude," Adrian says with a mock pout when Lia tells him he has to find some place else. "It's awful customer service, I'm gonna have a talk with your manager," he teases, pushing up off the counter and walking towards a shelf, picking up one of the crystals and looking it over. "Usually when I come here, there's a fresh batch of cookies or you know, a lasagna right out of the oven. Fun stuff like that," he says, looking over his shoulder and smirking at her.
