That still went ahead and Freddies personal assistant Peter “Phoebe” Freestone had to stay at Freddie’s flat, with a policeman, just in case the murderer turned up there. Freddie was once also threatened with a broken bottle in a bar when someone got upset when Freddie didn’t want to talk to him. Also, Queen were on a European tour and were told about a threat against their lives just before a show. The entire band, except Roger moved around the stage a bit more than usual, although Roger would have been protected by his drums and cymbals.”

He did this and on one of his days off at the hotel, a jeweler arrived with a brief case.
