hey, fantasy and historical writers!! Just a quick thing but uh, you know your blacksmiths? yeah? okay, so,they don’t just make weapons. Like, the  general village blacksmith was a person who made kitchen utensils, latches for gates, pots, cauldrons, candle holders — lots of stuff! 

Your blacksmith can make some awesome swords, yeah, but swords were generally useful for like, people with armouries, travellers, knights, etc. And swords weren’t the most important thing that blacksmiths made! Door hinges, horseshoes, spurs, sickles, axels for horse-drawn carts, iron bands for wheels, kettles, hooks to hang stuff on… that’s where most of their work would come from. It was vital! Blacksmiths, along with many other crafting professions, literally made the stuff that held society together, right down to the tiny steel loop fastenings on a shirt. 

Just remember that next time you’re doing worldbuilding for your story.

it doesnt have to be exclusively "trans healthcare." maybe a cis guy just wants boobs or a cis girl wants a dick. who cares. your bodys yours. customize that bitch. the more normalized it is to just do whatever with your body for any reason the easier itll be for the people who need to do it to actually go through with it because they wont be socially pressured as hard or harassed afterwards.

I’m seeing a lot of people comparing Velma series to Harley Quinn series as in why can Harley be gorey and not Velma or the “ mystery gang”

Because Harley Quinn is sit in a universe you have man dressed as a bat, a woman that controls plants, the joker, a being made of clay, and Killer shark. All set in Gotham universe which you guessed it came from a comic book.

Harley series can get away with that because by source material everyone will act like their over the top comic book selves.

It doesn’t work with IP that set on highschoolers that yes have differences but at end of the day they want stop crazy rich people dressing like ghosts to steal property, for fun might I add.

Jame Gunn Scooby Doo ( that’s PG rated with lot of adult jokes) works 10x better than what Velma series wants to be. Hell the admired scooby X supernatural crossover tackles the adult themes

And maybe just maybe people are tired of adult cartoons trying be cynical like Rick and morty >:/

There are 123 open ao3 tabs on my phone (yes, I counted) and it's such a mess, a chaos really. I cannot even bring myself to close them. Some are from a year or two ago and they are still there, on the off chance that I might read them. It's a pain, and I love it.
