My name's Clover, I'm a game programming student that actually started out wanting to do art!

Despite uni taking up most of my time, I don't want to give up entirely on drawing, hence why this blog exists :3

I will use this blog both to post my art and to generally share my thoughts/shitpost/do an analysis of whatever it is that caught my brain's attention at the moment. I know Tumblr has a tagging system that gets actually followed, which I really appreciate. I do like organizing stuff. Most of the time. #clawshitposts - for whatever genuinely stupid thing goes through my mind that I felt the need to voice out loud. Don't take what I write here seriously, I'm probably either caffeinated or sleep deprived! #clawtalks - here you can find more "serious" stuff I might have to say about something (see: a piece of media, a certain character, something that has happened irl, etc.) NOTE: I may make variations of the tag "clawtalks" if I feel like I'm gonna talk about a specific topic for a prolongued period of time. I will NOT list every single variation here, one that I think is worth mentioning however is... #clawtalks signora - variation of clawtalks, will be used specifically when I have something to say about La Signora because I am curious to see how that will go. #clawverdraws - use it to find my art. #clawocs - use it to find anything related to my ocs! I am thinking of adding specific tags for specific OCs, I'll likely do that in the future.

You already saw me make a specific tag to talk about a specific character, so let me list out some specific interests of mine that I may make art of or talk about: - Genshin Impact, specifically La Signora. I cannot stress this enough, I will yap for hours about her. Maybe there may be some talk about the Fatui/other Fatui Harbingers. I do love them all, even if I have favourites. - Pokemon!! It has been a big interest of mine since I was a child, I grew up with it :3 - Musicals, specifically Heathers, Hamilton, Six, Chicago, EPIC and whatever else I may end up watching in the future - Videogames in general, but the games I play more often/love particularly/consume content of are Elden Ring, Minecraft, FNAF, Pokemon, Hades (1 & 2), OneShot, SKY:Cotl, Undertale, Deltarune, Expedition 33, etc. - More generally speaking I identify as a non-binary lesbian, which will likely be relevant as queerness is an inherent part of who I am, and how I interpret the media I consume. Oh you say that character isn't queer? Well do I have news for you now-

I am bad at social media. Which may be ironic considering I code stuff, I shouldn't be as much of a "boomer" as I am, but it is what it is. So please be patient with me when it comes to this stuff.

My memory can be really bad. Like really, really bad, so I apologize in advance if I say I'll do something and then I don't- I assure you I either forgot or there's a good reason. I try to keep track of this stuff nowadays, but it still may happen unfortunately

I know that thankfully tumblr is a lot better when it comes to this stuff, but I still feel the need to write it down: dni if you partecipate in cringe culture (aka you shame people for their interests, behaviors etc because you think they are "cringe"). I am a big believer in being kind and letting people do their thing as long as they're not harming anyone without their consent, so yeah!

captain having a panic attack after a mission and signora clocking it and just. going up and wrapping her arms around him and explaining deep pressure therapy while it's fully white noise to him and he just kinda goes. yeah okay this works

next time he feels one coming on while she's around he just goes and hugs her and she doesn't even interrupt the convo she's in. just has the captain wrapped around her from behind with his head on her shoulder now. whatever. she knows what's up

this does absolutely nothing to help with the rumours about them but they don't know (cap) or care (signora) about those so

agents assigned to either of them are 100% ready to throw down if anyone talks shit/spreads rumours. those are their lords harbinger and what they do is none of anyone's business, thank you very much!

the distortion of "there is potential profit we did not earn" as "there is money we lost" is fascinating and disgusting to me. "megamediaconglomerate lost $1,000,000,000 to piracy this year" is a flat out lie. it is not true. they did not have a billion dollars, that they now do not have. they felt entitled to one billion dollars, that they did not have, and still do not have. it's an infuriating perversion of the truth

really love imagining a bunch a kids and teens on their pokemon journeys staying the night on the couches and floors in the lobbies of pokemon centers, having long talks about their experiences and feelings sharing funny and scary stories and myths about legendaries and trading items and sharing TMs along with sugary snacks and pokedex chargers all while their pokemon are out of their pokeballs and all bundled up in blankets sleeping soundly next to their trainers while they stare up at the stars shining through the glass ceiling over their heads

I'm serious when I say we gotta give Temmie Chang half the credit for Making Undertale (and Deltarune)

She's got an animation degree, I know the art in Undertale gets underappreciated sometimes because it's trying to evoke an older simpler style, but the art in Undertale is legit amazing and without Temmie, none of Toby's ideas would have been able to be realized (without finding some other artist and animator)

She deserves more flowers for being the one who made the vast majority of the art assets for an entire game that is one of the most commonly cited games as an influence on others (her style is so beloved and recognizeable, there's a fully complete Undertale fangame emulating it)
