As a teacher, it is important to always remember that while we are trying to mold children and prepare them for the future, they are already someone today. We should look at who the child is today, and see how we can use who they are to build them for a better tomorrow. Never neglect the child today!

Teacher Cadet Wix vs. Tumblr
I am looking forward to a great day...my students have ASKED to create presentations persuading me why we should use #wix or #tumblr for our Teacher Cadet online blogs. The class is split right down there middle with four students serving as the panel of judges (who like me, were torn). I am looking forward to seeing their presentations, and hopefully be swayed on way or the other! These are reasons why I teach...to see students passionate about SOMETHING. Even if it is which technology platform is better... :)
