Bethesda Conference Holy Crap!
What a great showing from the mega developers. Id's Doom 4, over the top testosterone filled, hyper violent good time, and a create a level that is cross platform. Makes this a purchase for me. Dishonored 2 the steam punk stealth game. Elder scrolls strategy card game. Then the most anticipated Fallout 4. Boston is the new area for the game. Destiny has made me feel like the Exo in this picture. A feeling of that's all? Where is the great journey that Bungie told us about? We were told of a great new galaxy of adventure and what we got was the empty promises we all hate. Why do we let them build up our expectations, just to be handed the same "Cover me while I do this." bull. I don't know if I will ever be excited like I was for this game. Tom Clancy's The-Division better help this way word kid back to happy town.

Some gaming news that are cool and not.
Let us start with the bad. To start with Bungie in their infinite wisdom has dumbed down gun that didn't need fixing. Why do developers change the way things should work. I think in this case Destiny want to give gamers something to talk about. How about you super fix the reward system. Also maybe fix that blue faced asshole. I will not use his name. Engram's man is the nice name I will give him. Finally thoughts on this Destiny stop fixing the things that work well and fix the crappy parts. You all are becoming a do not do this story for other developers. Side note I will still play it. One question Destiny why not give us more missions and not a new social area. Let us be social while playing new content. Now some news I don't care about. Drive club for psn is still in the works unofficially. My only thought is Yea? Driving Sims are a nice change every once in a while and free games are great. So I will play it and give my 2 cents. Final goodness. First 3-17-2015 can not happen soon enough. Battlefield Hardline is going to be a great friends get together and kill all game. The live beta was a total success. I think I heard that 7 million people played it. That means lots of games with all kinds of skill levels. If you are a good driver but not a killer you will get points with a full car of friends. That is the first part of the goodness. The second and final is the news that The Division is going to have a open alpha. That game if they polish it and live up to all the greatness they promised will be the benchmark the new generation shooter will be compared to. I have pre-ordered it and have very high hopes. But I also had the same hopes for Destiny, so time will tell. In closing I want developers to be creative and innovative. But please stop releasing beta games and not a polished gem of a game. I know there will always be glitches but give yourselves a bigger time frame and make are truly awesome game. We gamers will be happy to wait longer. Frustrated but very happy.
May be time to get a family computer for the living room.
I have spent most of the day watching YouTube videos on budget builds for gaming PC's. Then it occurred to me my wife and child might love a cool computer set up we all can use. I think I can build a system that I can use for my future YouTube and Twitch streams. That can also be used by my family to check Facebook, Twitter, and any other computer need. Well ventilated and easy to use. I want to run it on my tv. So over the next few days I am going to be pricing and putting together a good reason to tell my wife. I think if I can keep it cheap she will dive head first into the idea. I will keep you posted on the progress.
