Well, it’s been less than one week on-site and this ‘bad boy’ has been subjected to: diesel, hydraulic oil, compressor oil, gear oil, welding, heat, sweat to name a few, and I’m luving it! Gunnery Sgt Joe Karle of the 25th Marines came to visit her in the hospital. Evelyn’s last words were heard when this Gunny said he might be in the Rifle detail at her funeral. She perked up and said, “Yeeeeessss!” That was the last word anyone heard. Rest In Peace!
