Beaches Be Beautiful | Akito | Prologue | Closed for Alma
If there was one thing Akito Mikage could at least claim he was, it was punctual. The blond youth had arrived very early to the airport terminal, both because he thought it was only polite to give a first impression befitting someone of his grandiose name, and because it gave him the opportunity to practice with the frankly gorgeous lady behind the check-in counter. He left the area with a new number in tow, but likely wouldnât be contacting her until she had already forgotten who he was. This was a long and well-deserved vacation after all, and looking to the rest of his classmates who showed up, there was also going to be ample opportunities to work his charm.
After all, who could stand to resist the undeniable je ne sais quoi he radiated? Sometimes his reflection even charmed himself when he wasnât being careful.
The trip took much less time than he was expecting though, what with the sudden loss of perception. Still, it looked like they had arrived at exactly where Akito could consider to be a hotel luxurious enough to be a getaway that he approved of, not to mention the two gorgeous people who were also going to be staying inside the hotel with them. Everything was smooth sailing with the Dramaturge⊠At least, until he tried to flirt with Ariadne and saw the wedding ring. Figures that someone as beautiful as her would have marriee long ago, and while many things he was, homewrecker he was decidedly not.
So he went soul-searching, and by that I mean looking for cute girls, obviously. It didnât take long after he entered the lobby to find one he recognized from the news at least - Alma Lucero was at least someone he had read about, what with the well-deserved praise given to her efforts. It made for the perfect pick-up line, and so with a minor adjustment to his cravat and a spring in his step, he approached the Beachcomber with a winning smile.
âI was thinking of searching the beaches outside for treasure, but it looks like my work has been done for me.â He bowed to the girl, extending a hand when he came back up. âBonjour. I am Akito Mikage, Dramaturge. EnchantĂ© to finally meet you in person, Lucero-san.â
A little bit disoriented after such a strange trip, Alma had been doing her best to keep up with the tour after waking up in the lobby. She had come to the lobby to refamiliarize herself with the area, just to make sure that she knew her way around. Thankfully, there wasnât much to the area at least for the time being.
When she was suddenly approached by a boy in a mask, one of the people rooming near her, she smiled since she had been wanting to properly meet her classmates! Then when he spokeâŠ
It took a while for Almaâs mind to return to her body, having been surprised out of her. She had started to panic, almost, trying to get back to herself. She didnât want to be rude after all. Though when she came back down to Earth after being caught off guard like that, there was only one thing that she could doâŠ
âGH, HAH!â Soon enough Alma was doubled over, she couldnât help but giggle at the line that he had delivered just now, but she grabbed onto his hand to shake it. It took awhile for that to actually happen though, unfortunately.
âOh no, oh, Iâm so sorry Akito, itâs nice to meet you, I justâŠâ She wheezes a little bit, âThatâs not what I expected, Iâm sorry, thank you for coming to introduce yourselfâŠâ
Steadying herself and wiping her face a bit, she had turned red from all off that laughter.
âIâm Alma Lucero, though I guess that you already know that. It really is nice to meet you, Iâm so so sorry about that, it was just very funny.â She wasnât able to stop smiling at least, she felt so bad that she had just laughed in the face of someone she had just met like that. God, she hoped that she didnât come across as mean. Bad pick up lines and things adjacent to them are just so funny...
