Who would guess that the person who started out as my enemy would be the one I’d grow to adore most. What started out as almost a fight between us, turned into a friendship, then an attraction and then Love. We spent 2 years long distance because she was in Puerto Rico and I was in New York. I only saw her in the Summer and sometimes the winter. But then she moved out here for college and we’ve been inseparable since. I’d do anything in the world to keep her smiling. I Love You cuco. She didn’t know it yet. When she first saw her standing there with her suitcase. She didn’t know that after that moment, no other person would matter. No other thought would consume her. Not one thing would ever matter more than she did. She had always wondered, imagined, and pondered the thought of love. What was it? What was the definition of love. Could it be a sin to love? To love something so much that you’re willing to let it take you over. Could it be a sin to completely fall victim to someone and allow yourself to be branded by another human being in such a way? Spiritually, physically, and in every way possible.. To give your heart away forever, with a certainty that you’d never get it back. Could anything be worth such risk? She didn’t know the answer. Not until that kiss. Not until her lips danced with hers. It was the kind of kiss in which you know her lips were made just for you. The kind of kiss that screams her lips were sculpted perfectly just for yours. And when she took in her scent. When she felt her touch.. And when she looked into her eyes and saw her soul. Not only just captivated by her beauty.. although she was the most beautiful thing that she had ever laid her eyes on. It wasn’t just lust. No way. It was an innocent kind of love too. Full of tenderness.. In such a way a mother loved her child. Yet she loved and needed her like a junkie needed heroine. Withdrawal and all, she was addicted to this girl. It was an unmistakable bond. It was the kind of love you only hear about in movies. Fairy tales. Dreams. But this was happening. This was real. She had been hunted and bounded by love. It was done. In that very moment. Nothing would ever be the same. But she didn’t care. She didn’t know it yet.. But this girl would be the answer to every prayer. She’d be every thought. No, not just every thought; every breath. Every heart beat. Just everything.. From that moment forward. With just that kiss. Just that touch. Just that stare. The poison had set in.. she didn’t care. It wasn’t like she could stopped it even if she wanted to. She couldn’t have prepared herself either. Actually, she had no clue what she was doing. Because there’s no beginners manual. No directions. No help. Nothing to compare it to. True love is raw, unchartered, and just beautiful. She just fell. For her smile, her eyes, her mind, and her soul. Done. Just like that. In that moment of enlightenment. In that epiphany. All she could do is wonder, wonder, and wonder if that girl felt the same. Over and over she wondered, imagined, and pondered..Does she know I’m in love with her yet?
