intro post!

hello! i design dragons whenever i feel like it

this blog runs on a queue

i started my read chronologically with legends: darkstalker, and i've finished all the books!

MORROWSEER

Morrowseer had black-on-black scales that were described to look like a bottomless pit. The star scales on the underside of his wings curled inward like a snail shell and glittered from a great distance, casting a cold glow. He had heavy talons, black eyes, a black snout, strong claws and bright white teeth, as well as light gray spikes running down his back.

SECRETKEEPER

Secretkeeper is tall and thin. She looks similar to Moonwatcher, but without the silver teardrop scales by her eyes.

NAUTILUS

Nautilus has green scales with black spiral patterns on them and cold, glittering green eyes.

CLAY V2

Clay is muscular, large, burly, and stocky, with a sloping back, a thick, lengthy neck, a large, broad head, and white teeth. He is the largest of the dragonets of destiny, and has a rumbly, deep, warm voice. He also has fire-resistant, mud-colored scales. Clay's scales are a warm brown in the shades of rich mahogany and tree bark, along with undertones of glowing amber, clay, and gold glinting between and beneath his scales.

DUNE

Dune had extraordinarily powerful sandy-yellow wings and flashing black eyes. He was large and bigger than Scarlet. One of his forelegs, as well as his right wing, were badly injured in combat against IceWing soldiers, with the formerly frozen parts of his wing having been snapped off, leaving only misshapen, blackened ruin. His wing was further destroyed when Burn sliced through its tendons and membranes, leaving a long scar running through it and causing it to trail crookedly beside his body. He also lost his foot, leaving only a foreleg stump.

KESTREL

Kestrel had jewel-hard, bright red-gold scales the color of rust and flames. She had orange-yellow eyes, as well as a red tail, wings and talons. Her tongue was forked. She was enormous, bigger than Ex-Queen Scarlet and more than twice the size of Sunny. She had several odd scorch marks across her palms caused by carrying Peril, as well a burn mark on her cheek. She was grumpy-looking.

WEBS

Webs has blue-green scales and wings, as well as a long tail and body. He is heavy and large.

HVITUR

Hvitur had moon-pale, cold silver scales, silver wings, blue eyes, and a long body.

CRICKET

Cricket has buttercup yellow and orange-gold scales, described as similar to the color of the sun, that are speckled with black scales that look like tiny inkblots. She has golden-yellow talons, golden-orange-black wings, warm, dark brown eyes, and a long neck.

SWORDTAIL

Swordtail is burly and handsome, with iridescent dark blue scales and a small pattern of white triangles along his spine and snout. He has beautiful dark blue eyes, deep blue wings, long blue antennae, and a long orange-and-blue tail. He is dotted all over with orange splotches, as though someone melted a sunset in a cauldron and flung it over his wings.

BLUE

Blue has gemlike azure, bright morpho butterfly blue, and lavender-purple scales, with purple scales on his back, quiet lavender scales on his arms, azure talons, and a purple snout. His body glints with purple and aquamarine like buried jewels, and his wings shimmer purple and bright cerulean blue, like sapphires and violets tumbled together. Before his wings fully developed, his wingbuds were small and tightly curled, and an iridescent violet color, a brighter, more purple shade than the rest of his scales.

SIX-CLAWS

Six-Claws has light yellowish-brown scales and large wings. His side is marked with old scars, and he has six claws on each foreleg instead of the usual five, due to his polydactyly.

FIERCETEETH

Fierceteeth has black scales, a disgruntled and bedraggled look, and is about half the size of Strongwings. She is thin and bony.

SNOWFLAKE

Snowflake had silvery-white scales. According to Arctic, she was pretty in a boring, glassy way.

STARFLIGHT V2

Starflight has midnight-black scales with glints of purple and deep blue in them. The silver scales on the undersides of his black wings spray outward like a splash of water, similar to his father, Mastermind. He has a black snout and claws, as well as sinewy shoulders. The space between his wings is narrow and he is not very burly.

DEATHBRINGER

Deathbringer has black scales, eyes, and wings with a glittering spray of scattered, sparkling, silver scales underneath that catch the morning light like trapped stars.
