Albion Collective hired me to write their latest record’s description!

After unearthing the deep, mechanical world of Reso in ALBION006, the imprint returns to its 4th instalment; Glume, FLO & Mr. K embellish Thug with jewels and blue fire. The fledgling label have ceaselessly explored new territory, lighting the torches of dub, trap, grime and more. This, and Albion collective’s dedication to signing both rising talent and certified pioneers, means that their movements are unpredictable, yet highly anticipated. Already announcing their 2nd release of 2019, acceleration is under way. With Glume sending 30hz across the 140 scene, Thug’s return to the limelight is auspicious. Mysterious, Far-Eastern flute-work rarefies the air. Second-late 808s send tai-chi blasts to the chest. In the depths of the concrete jungle, Thug is zen.
