Once the girl began to fall, Jack instinctively reached out to catch her and help hold her up. In the end, he was pleased that his arms didn’t go right through her. He wasn’t even sure what he should do except for making sure she didn’t hurt herself.

"Are you okay?" Obviously she wasn’t; what kind of question was that? "Just… try to stay awake."

She didn't truly seem in much control,at this point she was more or less out of it and that was the bad thing. Truly her arm had only gotten worse,not from the walker infection but probably just the fact it was still stitched and all and that was gonna be painful and more than likely bloody.
