Marsha P. Johnson allegedly died of suicide in 1992, and her death was never investigated. Even I, a mere prole, could catch the “she was murdered” vibes from the circumstances surrounding the discovery of her body.

Goths aren't "true to seed" in the sense that the biological offspring of two goths do not necessarily grow up to be goth, though inheriting the inclination for it from both parents increases the odds significantly. That is not how goths naturally reproduce.

The process is actually quite sophisticated, and requires the presence of a full-grown goth to trigger it. A pupal-stage proto-goth, at this point completely indistinguishable from any other small human child, only needs to encounter a mature specimen once - and while the initial imprinting that ensues will only take seconds, the incubation period often takes more than a decade, even several.

The first visible step of the transformation is triggered when the dormant goth suddenly gains awareness that they have free will and can do whatever they want with their appearance. While the progress may be gradual, or seem like the transformation happened all at once overnight, the initial seed was planted years ago. And now, in full bloom, a fully-fledged mature adult goth may finally be happy.

And that's why it's important to sometimes look goth as fuck in the grocery store. You might be seen by small child who had previously hoped to die before adulthood because everything they've heard about becoming a grownup is just pure misery, who will then consequently think to themselves "actually nevermind, that's what I want to be when I grow up."

Shots of Sims I've deleted, but dayumn I wish I'd saved them in my gallery beforehand. I can't even remember what scenario I created these ladies for, sadly.

Now Helga here, I remember her first name, and what I'd set up - she had a great big decrepit house she'd inherited, and I had lots of little challenges planned that she would have to complete in order to effectively renovate the place. I lost track of what I was doing very quickly, so I'm REALLY looking forward to recreating her and trying again once the Challenge Tracker mod is out for the public (I am so, so happy and thankful that it exists).

Now these dudes are something I do remember - I made the Bad Sanses in the Sims, even added the Basemental mods to let them do their Sims equivalent of adding negativity to existence . . . and then my game decided it didn't want to save correctly. A glitch I kept having, so they sadly had to go the way of the bin after I took Basemental out.

I'm pretty sure it was a conflict thing, so I'm definitely going to return to this idea with a fresh custom content build somewhere down the line.

I love, love, LOVED these horns the first time around even if I had trouble using them at times - no flaw in their creation, just in my visualization of what I wanted for my sims. I'm so, so happy to see a new version that looks so sleek and ranging from elegant to rugged to downright menacing. Sometimes all three!
