Donny was honestly a bit taken back by this, he hadn't expected her to be so welcoming after everything that had happened.  Though he snapped himself out of his daze and gave what would be called a sound or mutter of acknowledgement  nodding his head as he moved up and walked beside her.  

He tripped on himself a bit trying to focus on walking as well as her, his persistently horrid eyesight not allowing him to do both, but he tried to keep his composure as best he could, not wanting to make a fool of himself.
